If that were true, then they would of never banned people who were using HB botting software. Some boxer ruined my creepy pixelated erp event on MG, or WA, so off to the forum I go to spam another multiboxing thread

I think they should make nodes personal, but if you’re in a party or raid with another player, you both see the same nodes.
i.e. Player 1 sees nodes A and C
Player 2 sees nodes A and B.
Player 1 invites player 2 to a party, now both players see nodes A and C, but not node B.
(To combat just invite/leave spamming parties… have a 30 second cooldown for swapping node visibilities.)

That’s not it since they can literally eat a node in a sec if they stack.

so your intention isn’t to get to the herb first, it’s to block any other person having access to the node?

There’s a difference between someone using multiple accounts and someone using botting software. It’s possible to multibox without breaking the rules, which I believe Blizzard has gone over before. Like i said, they won’t do anything about this.
Everyone is aware of the issue. Either they’ll address it or the won’t. Can we please stop beating this dead horse?
unfortunately, it’s most likely a botter campaign to kill the competition. On some of “those” sites they have been pushing it hoping Blizz would change their mind. They even have a list of talking points already made up to promote it.

Having just read this entire thread, so far; it seems that I see a lot of people trying to justify what amounts to severe cases of addiction.
This is NOT gaming; this is addiction, plain and simple.
Do the basic arithmetic, peoples: look how much is being spent; both in time and money.
It is also a vicious cycle; yet another sign of addiction.
- You bot up a ton of mats and sell them on the AH.
- You use the gold to buy tokens.
- You use the tokens to buy game time.
- You use the game time to return to #1.
That ain’t gaming, folks.
The really sad part is all the justifications I’m seeing: especially from all the self-righteous ‘‘well just play different’’ nonsense.
To conclude; don’t take my word for all this. Go to any medical/mental health website and look up ‘addiction’.
Take care of yourselves and remember those in uniform who gave their lives for us all.

Guess you never visited the HB forum back when all those players were getting banned for botting, it was hilarious the raging. They bragged on how they would just hop onto their other accounts, and would run their multiple bot trains. Botters used multiple accounts. You would see a fleet of them flying around Jade Forest during mop. And they were cheating for sure, because if you looked you could see their alt accounts with them flying before their alts were level 90. You could not fly in mop zones before level 90 when mop was current content.

Dunno what to tell you. Either Blizzard changed their stance or those folks were using 3rd party software and they got caught. The multiboxers farming herbs aren’t breaking the rules unless they’re using botting software to do it, per Blizzard.

Talking about the recent ban wave? It wasn’t for the mutliboxing or the software that it uses, they was caught using the software and hardware to bypass certain macro restrictions. I talked to one of the “druid boxers” on discord. He had macro hotkeyed to target, fire off a attack then switch target with one key click.

node sharing didn’t exist, so the only thing they’d have been doing is making themselves highly visible.
There were ghost iron nodes every 50 feet in mop. Who needs node sharing when there are nodes every few feet lol.
I know…and it disappears regardless even if its hit once by anyone farming it. Just takes a little longer.
… which is botting. So exactly what I just said. If multiboxers are getting banned, it’s from using botting software.
