I think a strict solo que RBG’s is a bad idea, in my opinion I think they should allow up to 3 people que together.

Let’s face it solo que will nuke the amount of players doing 10 man que and it will be a ghost town, meaning solo que will be where 90%+ of players will be and you getting to play RBG’s with your friends will be almost non existent.

A flex que would be better and I think the golden number would be 3. People should be able to go from 3v3 right into RBG’S without dropping anyone. A reason a lot of players currently play healers is to specifically heal their friends, and healers will be far more likely to que if they can bring a friend or two. Not only that but people would feel like playing a healer was more worth it because you could get you and your friends into games much faster than 3 dps players, it’s more likely one of them bites the bullet and heals.

I am a healer main and just giving my own perspective.

They are allowing a duo que with healer + dps which i think is enough for this.

Just like Arena Participation dropped with SS. But it just shows what the player want. Why put strain on their fun?

There are 80,000 threads about premades because you nerds won’t stop grouping up and beating the hell out of casuals relentlessly so this is what happens.

(And still I can bet the sweat monsters are already thinking about how to break and stack it anyways)

This is supposed to be a solo queue bracket.

They’re already bending the rules a bit by allowing healers to bring in one friend.

If they allow healers to bring in two friends, a “solo queue” team might end up being composed of two 3s teams plus two random pugs. 75% of the “solo queue” team would be part of a coordinated premade.

I’m pointing out you’d have a “solo queue” team which actually only has 2 solo queuers. 75% of the team wouldn’t be solo queuers.

The game isn’t designed around solo que, the point is to allow people to que solo, doesn’t mean we should design the game around players playing by themselves, that would be terrible for an mmo

Well, this bracket is supposed to be a solo queue RBG.

It would be kinda odd to have this bracket and then some teams only have 25% solo queuers.

Personally i don’t see a big issue with letting people group to queue. OP is right, this is going to kill regular rbgs, so this is limiting friend groups of 2+ players. If groups of 2+ players can’t find rbgs and can’t join this new solo queue stuff do you know where they’re gonna go? Random bgs. Then the complaining about premades will continue to be endless

If you group with 2+ players your matches will still be based on your mmr and if your mmr is set to what your group can do with voice coms then it’s still fair. If the other team is that good without voice coms then good on em, they achieved that rating without coms

The whole point to is to have randomization and inclusion. Everyone likes that.

Random skills level, random classes, random spec. The moment you group, you just broke the randomization.

I wouldn’t agree with that statement, solo que is just the name people are giving it but I highly doubt it will be strictly solo que, it will probably be a flex que where you can play solo or with a friend or two.

just stop it with RBG queing.
Its the only pvp that works as intended right now.
If you come up with really stupid ideas … it draws Ion out like a magnet…he just senses bad ideas being posted on wow forums and then he makes it happen…

personally i dont see a big issue with it being purely solo or duo q . Rbgs have been dead for awhile. It beats having to sit around for 2+ hrs to form a group of people .
