Multi boxing is fine eh?

Some do! Any form of name calling I flag though as that’s unquestionably inappropriate.

Been there lol

This is the stock reply to any “I was attacked in WM” comment, check any thread about warmode and you’ll see it guaranteed.

I don’t know if it’s massive but it’s certainly present, I won’t argue that it’s not.

Can neither confirm nor deny

That’s fine but attacking people isn’t going to get you anywhere, there’s a reason you’ll never see me being overzealous on the forums lol. Being a grumpy goblin isn’t going to workout on the internet ever

Never said that

The only reason people want to get rid of multiboxing is to get rid of all the multiboxing herbalists. They think that doing that will somehow get Zin’anthid back up to 100g. As if the end of the expansion isn’t the most significant factor in the price drop of profession materials.

Man this thread is looking extra spicy tonight

Even though multiboxing isn’t a bannable offense, it’s unrealistic to try and say it’s not some form of P2W. You multibox, you make more gold, you can more easily level characters, and in numbers like in the video OP posted, you’re able to quite literally win basically any PvP encounter. Literally one of the primary definitions of P2W. Arguing it’s not P2W isn’t reasonable or realistic.

That is exactly what i went through in av with shamans ,thank you for posting that video.

There is no agreed upon definition, that can be your definition

False. People want to get rid of multiboxxers because they’ve become rampant in their aggressive overfarming of materials. How do you think that will affect making gold off professions at the start of a brand new expansion? Do you think that having every crafting material being worthless due to overfarming won’t have an effect on how much gold crafted items will cost?

What is P2W then, if not paying to win at an aspect of a game?

Though I do like

able to gain an advantage over those playing for free who might otherwise never be able to access said items

Since there are no items that exist that you can buy outside of wow that don’t exist in wow.

is that because you make so much more with less time investment because you paid for the advantage?

Do you always respond to your own comments?

There aren’t nearly enough multiboxers to have a noticeable impact on the cost of profession materials.

What does have an actual impact is the end of the expansion as everyone rushes to dump all their soon-to-be worthless stock.

That somehow hasn’t yet so you can shut down that line of fearmongering and try again with a real argument.

They should just throw all the multiboxers into a single server and see if the multiboxers really dont have any effect in their own economy. My guess is that they would die out because they cant have monopolies.

How would I have paid for an advantage? You can’t buy advantage here. lol

And yet one of the most comment arguments for Multiboxxers is that they having the prices being much cheaper. That one doesn’t hold water dude.

…what? It hasnt happened yet because multiboxxing has never been this egregious. Shadowlands isn’t out yet, so how could you POSSIBLY say “it hasnt happened in the past so it wont happen int he future” to a recent problem?

Like, duh of course it hasnt happened in the past because MB farming hasnt been anywhere near as bad in the past as it is now.

It’s the stock argument that multiboxxers use to justify what they do. Not only that, but they love mocking players that want to enjoy PvP.

How is it not massive? Even with just 5 toons, you can easily take out any group of players. You can easily farm more. Just try fighting 5 bm hunters… Can kill almost anyone in seconds.

What does this even mean? I have been playing since BC. I never saw a single multiboxxer in BC. Saw a few more from Wrath to Wod. Legion they just started showing up everywhere. Everytime I went to broken shore I would see them farming BOE’s. Constantly ran into them out in the world. Now I see one once a week or more and I’m not even out in the world much.

You implied it. I said they ruin the game for others. You said it would ruin the game if we removed multiboxxers.

We know it ruins the experience for others and you’re fine with that. I mean, that’s fine if you want to have the opinion, but that what it is.

Whatever definition or classification you use paying for advantages in games through real money is disliked.
