Multi boxers create a negative rmt feedback loop

Pot, meet Kettle. Kettle, Pot.

That’s true, I used the WayBackMachine to look at multiboxing threads from BC and people were saying the same things then they are saying now

Yep people have been complaining about Multiboxing forever and nothing has really changed with them and in all likelihood nothing is going to change.

Yeah, I really doubt it.

I don’t like competing against multi-boxers for nodes, but when I can buy herbs off the AH for 2g each, it’s not so bad.

What’s the irony? Multiboxing is still here

devaluate? uhmmm don’t know, my undercuts ALL have 0c in tsm … so big NO for you.
this causes more RMT (gold buying)?
Another big NO for you, what causes RMT is cheap price VS high need for expensive stuff in game, such as 300k+ mounts everywhere, less boxers generate higher value for commodities which will result in more gold needed, which will result in more RMT.
BUT here comes the huge catch, at least half the botters will keep botting, because they don’t box, they have not been caught and won’t be, but now they have a HUGE market gap they can fill, guess what… they will soon realize they can make boat loads of money and we will have a massive increase in actual botting everywhere.

…not for long, according to Blizz.

Can you link me a source saying this?

If it’s “according to Blizz” after all, you must have evidence of them saying this.

Well maybe the irony is, that my suggestion wasn’t to ban multiboxing but to ban the key-broadcasting software, which they just did today.
https://us.forums.blizzard.com/en/wow/t/multi-boxers-create-a-negative-rmt-feedback-loop/615165/60?u=nsk-draktharon

as for the link to blizzard statement, well here it is

Since you dont seem to be capable of looking it up for yourself, here you go:

https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.thegamer.com/blizzard-world-of-warcraft-multi-box-input-broadcast-software-ban/amp/

Next time maybe lift a finger to take a look for yourself rather than continuing an argument because you are too lazy to look something up yourself. Man some people are useless.

Yeah, it is growing a bit tiresome. I honestly wish they would learn to just use the existing threads to make the points that I am sure someone in those threads already made.

You can’t really say that on a thread created several months ago with 770+ posts.

Nobody subscribes to the one topic, one thread idea anymore. People have different points to make and different aspects of an issue to discuss. This does not work well in a giant megathread.

If you aren’t on the Blizz payroll then stop trying to police the threads.

I agree.

Like yourself.

Multiboxing hasn’t gone away, nor is it going away.

If you would read the article you linked, you would see that only the broadcast software used to connect multiple clients is being actioned.

However, you CAN STILL MULTIBOX. People were doing it before this software, and Blizzard is ok with them doing it AFTER this change:

The above thread was updated 4 HOURS AGO and still says multiboxing is A OK.

A little reading comprehension goes a LONG way.

They don’t seem to say what you suggested

Strange, almost like I had no idea what you were going to link

You know, after I said that I felt a bit bad about it, thought I might have been a little bit harsh.

…but now I’m glad I said it. I am NOT going to summarize the whole article for you.

Good, it would be a waste of your time since none of it says what you’re implying

Don’t be obtuse. Without the third party software, the days of boomkins standing in the fields will be over. Multiboxing will drop by 90%+. And you know this.
