Multi boxer/Epic BG premade leader

Hello,

I have a screenshot of a Epic BG premade leader who is also multi-boxing 5+ characters in a recent Epic BG I finished.

How do I report this person so he gets punished for multi-boxing? I know blizzard changed their rules about it, and it’s now against TOS.

I tried /reporting his name in game after the BG ended but it didn’t work.

What Blizzard banned was having any type of software or hardware assisting in the multiboxing. Multiboxing in and of itself is not banned, so long as the player follows the rules about no external assistance.

Multiboxing, or playing multiple World of Warcraft accounts at once, is not a violation of our End User License Agreement. Please note, however, that use of all software or hardware mechanisms used to mirror commands to multiple World of Warcraft accounts at the same time, or to automate or streamline multiboxing in any way may result in account penalties.

For more information on our stance about input broadcasting software, see our official forum post.

They can’t be punished for multi-boxing itself. They would be punished for using software that streamlines multi-boxing.

While in the battleground you right-click and report AFK. To report after the battleground you can email any videos/screenshots and a detailed description to Hacks@Blizzard.com

Unless you are in that persons house and standing over him, you have no way of knowing it. Just report and move on.

You suspect, but have no actionable information to show this is the case.

The best way to report is by right click, but if not possible, you could email those to hacks@blizzard.com and make sure to include as much information such as date and time this occured.

You could technically still use macros in game with out using multiboxing software to accomplish the same tasks, the only prohibition is using software or hardware to broadcast those macros to multiple clients at the same time. As quoted from the above link.

Please note, however, that use of all software or hardware mechanisms used to mirror commands to multiple World of Warcraft accounts at the same time, or to automate or streamline multiboxing in any way may result in account penalties.

I have Emailed hacks@blizzard.com with details and the screenshot, so it’s out of my hands now.

If I was able to post the screenshot here I think you all would change your tune. The number this guy was pulling damage wise and healing on 5 alts, would be next to impossible without using some method of controlling two+ toons at one time. There simply wouldn’t be enough time in the Epic BG to do so without a 3rd party program.

It won’t matter what we think as we have nothing to do with the folks that look into this kind of thing. More to the point, the forums isn’t that kind of thing, much less trying to report it.

Exactly why I used the information given to me of where to report this with my screenshot. Now I’m done with it, thanks for helping me with knowing where to report the scum.
