MS/OS is the best loot rule

To date retail after 20 years… ms/os is the king the bread and butter of loot priority system.

Not master loot, not personal loot.
Good old main spec over off spec.

The king of loot rules.

After the many years this is the best and most fairest loot system designed by Blizzard.

Make classic better again.

Force ms/os on all future runs as per the retail loot philosophy

MS/OS only succeeds if you put a cap on how many times you can win.

That’s why people use +1

soft reserve system is hands down the best. It’s basically ms/os but better.

Personal loot with token pieces would be the best

So as a warrior all Items in game are MS right since I can need on all of them and wear all of them technically?

if i had to ms>os raids on fresh I would just quit, its the worst system you can do especially in 40m

any system that allows me to choose what items are important to me is my favorite

ms>os doesn’t do this, so that’d make it not a favorite

ms>os with an sr system would work

gdkp would work

dkp would work

tmb would work

basically anything that isn’t rolls

lol there would be no quicker way to kill wow… As soon as a healer needed on a nel’s tear that would be the end…

I have one on this pally :stuck_out_tongue:

The problem with rolling on gear is that you lose rolls to someone who comes in to their first raid ever and wins the best item in the raid and then never raids again. It happens. All. The. Time.

Soft reserve is a little better but doesn’t completely get rid of this problem.

In a world where Blizzard actually cares about getting rid of RMT, GDKP is by far the best loot system. It automatically and indiscriminately awards the hardest working players.

The thing I hate about rolling is that because you can trade items after they’ve been traded to you in classic wow for 2 hours to whoever is eligible, people are incentivized to roll on every single thing that they could possibly use even if they don’t really care and try to sell it/barter with it later

I was in an ms>os mc pug where a holy paladin won a choker, the casters weren’t happy but its “bis” by 1 spell power so the leader let it go. The next week the same paladin rolled on the choker again and lost, I messaged him and asked him about it and he told me “it was a tiny upgrade for me so i didn’t really care so i sold it to a mage”

rolls cost nothing so people just send them on everything, if that choker had cost him dkp or a tmb slot or an sr he never would have bothered with it but because he can roll consequence free he just does it

What is the point of this post lol

The number of stories I’ve heard about this very situation unfolding with DST is absolutely unreal. Seen a few guilds bust up over it too.

Incandescent armor tokens (priest/warlock/mage) are not usable by warriors.
Molten Scale armor tokens (paladin/shaman/hunter) are not usable by warriors.
etc.

How many runs are just open roll like that? Every one I’ve joined is 2 SR, +1. So you can’t just send rolls on everything.

Talisman for flask set is MS. Ring of SP for flask set is MS

I prefer GDWTFHW as a loot system

the ‘D’ is for Druid

SR trounces MS>OS all day bro.

Great for dungeons and could be ported over to raids. Nifty!
