Moving the Kaldorei off Kalimdor completes the Horde's attempt at genocide instead of safeguarding against it

Yep, exactly this.

The majority of the sensible Night Elf players I’ve spoken to love 10.2, and they’re happy that they’re finally getting a new capital.

But you’ve got a brain-rotted minority that continue to whine and spit the dummy while making massive, extremely stupid claims, like one I saw on Twitter where an absolute troglodyte of a person claimed that what was happening to the Night Elves was ‘ethnic cleansing’.

If we cite the diaspora Jews from Europe - especially since the Draenei also have some Eastern European references in their history, that strengthens my analogy.

I see what you mean. And imagine how some people would react when they find out that colonialism is something non-white people have also done, and that there are times white people were on the receiving end.

It’s historical fact that the religion and people have been tied to the land for ages. You are erasing the Jewish presence there, I am not erasing the Palestinian presence. That’s the difference.

I really don’t care for the religion but to see a multi-thousand-year-old text that has been meticulously maintained word-for-word and then to deny people their connection to their ancestral homeland is pretty gross.

“Anyone who disagrees with me sucks worse than the people who do” is a very modern take. From someone unwilling to look up what the word homeland or capital means.

At this point you seem to literally just be going outta your way to troll lmao.

Would you like a tissue? Sounds like you need one, or maybe a whole box.

Classic racist projection.

We are erasing you, if we give you power you will erase us back.

Be better. The slavers of the south said the literal same when they thought the black people were to be freed.

Her point, that you failed to grasp it seems, is that people have to BLATANTLY lie and ignore large swaths of the lore to make some of the claims they’re making about this patch and the kaldorei in general

Rants about all the NE fans making them upset, then tells the other person they’re the ones actually crying.

So it is trolling lmao.

As evidenced by people literally in this forum, two people specifically, not reading the in-game text because it contradicts what they’re saying.

Oh he knows what my point is.

He refuses to acknowledge it, because he’d rather make a mountain out of a molehill than use his brain.

The jewish presence of the palestinian jews does not extend to european jews.

Get that throught your skull.

Why are we still going on about Israel and Palestine in a WoW story discussion forum.

Good question, i’m just kinda watching this myself.

Oh, I’ve read the text. And you’re still wrong about them abandoning Kalimdor. But…you do you I suppose

Because a racist wants to justify apartheid because a magic book tells him to

if you actually read it you’d realize exactly what we’re saying. But we’re the small brained ones for actually… reading the text.

You seem to be confused about Jewish identity. It is not purely a religious identity. Jews, even from across the world, have more in common with each other genetically than they do with their neighbors in diaspora.

It isn’t a moot point. History doesn’t have to repeat itself. The writers write the Horde that way, and the writers can choose to not write the Horde that way.

You’re right.

I’m sorry, but no. You can make an argument, if you count beans in books that are irrelevant, that maybe stands up her point but ‘blatant lie’ is dramatic overstatement and contrarianism.

You can be really tired of the nelf plot (I am, I so am) without jumping to this. This is just being combative and dismissive and unconstructive about a topic everyone’s already extremely tired of and it doesn’t help.

Also can we not throw in real-world controversial subjects here because as a community we lack the nuance to discuss writing in this flea market carnival of a story, we are definitely not going to handle this other stuff well.
