Is there a way to set it up to were my toon follow’s the mouse cursor, without pressing the right mouse button?
sure, learn to use W A S D.

Unhelpful and also a backwards step from what OP is trying to do.
There isn’t anything I’m aware of that will make your charecter follow the mouse cursor. You can resort to keyboard for lateral movements but to straight up turn around the mouse will always be better.

How is it unhelpful? If they are using W A S D to turn, then they don’t need the mouse.
Stop starting arguments where there isn’t a need for it.
WASD is regression, keyboard turning is a meme for a reason. He’s trying to improve his movement and you’re “suggestion” was going back to doing it the worst way it can be done.

WASD movement is less responsive for quick turns. It’s basic. Mouse movement allows for faster response. It could mean the difference between getting out of the fire or dying or capping a pvp objective or dying. Most MMOs allow you to mouse move.

That being said. There is a learning curve when switching from keyboard turning to mouse turning. It’ll take committing to the switch and being uncomfortable for some time before it becomes 2nd nature. I recommend looking up some vids on Youtube on mouse turning so that you can be more effective with it as you learn.
I actually use arrow keys and my mouse to move. Works pretty good for me.

Are you saying for any time of movement?
I personally just have W to move forward, while A and D let me strafe left and right. I turn with the mouse.

Sorry OP, I don’t have the answer… but perhaps you can make a macro that simply spams right-click after a button press, and disabled upon same button press?
Yes.
Keyboard turning is unequivocally the worst way to move your character.
If your wanting a diablo style click and move then no, it doesn’t exist in wow

Yes it is. HOWEVER, I have always kept Q and E and S actually bound to strafe and backwards. I use the mouse for turning and the other keys for some fine tuning things. Sometime a little step back during a GCD is enough to get out of what you need to instead of flipping the screen around and mashing the two main mouse buttons to move.
There is a balance.

You shouldn’t turn, you should use Strafe for directional keys and then turn with your mouse. So much more intuitive and efficient
