Mouse turning Question?

There actually is a click to move option but I wouldn’t recommend it, nor do I think it is what OP is looking for.

I’d imagine OP wants a more first person shooter type camera that moves with his mouse without having to hold right click.

That actually does exist. You can enable click to move in the settings somewhere. Messed with it once while I was bored and I know someone that plays with it on.

It was horrible and I don’t know how he does it.

Yes, i was hoping that there would be something similar to that mouse style of movement, so I would be able to bind my mouse keys to abilities. I sad to here that i can’t do that. :frowning:

Assuming you would still move forward with “w”

To have an FPS style camera you would have to lock your cursor to the middle of the screen and somehow rebind the camera turn?

You would need a toggle, because interacting with your bags/quests/proffesions would become difficult without a cursor.

Not saying it’s impossible but definitely would be impractical

Console Port can do it I believe.

People use it to play WoW with a controller. But if you dont have one it has the same effect if you use your mouse.

Sadly I use my right hand for basic movements with the mouse when I am not in combat. When I am in combat I use my right hand for my dps rotations on my number pad and my left hand on the arrow keys for movement. Some would say it is slower and yes I would agree. But for me it allows me to cast and move and I am usually one of the few that do make it out of the fire 99% of the time while others sit there.
A few seconds slower mean’s nothing to your body when it’s used to a particular way. If I tried to switch to my mouse for movement during fight’s I would bring myself to a complete stall.

(BTW Click to move is under your mouse options. It works nicely for somethings like the monk challenge on the 2nd boss in BoDA, but don’t leave it on you will go nuts)
