Mouse cursor vanish when switching out if I shift mouse click

Seems to happen if I accidentally click the mouse button or shift am testing it but anyone have any idea on what might cause it and if I can disable something? Seems to make the mouse cursor disappear and then I have to find a way to kill the task and reopen. It’s a bit annoying so wanted to figure it out.

This also happens to me. I can replicate too. I am using a trackpad, but my guess the same happens when using a mouse too.

Replication Steps:

  1. Right click on screen to move camera angle
  2. While panning camera (and holding down right click on trackpad / mouse), CMD + Tab out of WoW
  3. Go back into WoW
  4. Notice cursor is gone.

To get the cursor back, I usually have to force quit WoW and re-open it.

I’ve encountered this issue as well. One thing I discovered by accident is that I can get the cursor to come back by pressing both the left and right mouse buttons simultaneously. (The alternative method to move forward that I almost never use…) Not sure how one would do that with a trackpad, though.

Totally forgot I reported this bug last year.

Yeah I managed to start doing this too after I posted so while annoying, at least it’s fixable pretty quickly versus restart.
