Mouse bug?

Ok so when going to turn the camera on my toon I will sometimes (Maybe 1 out of four or five times but at random) get what seems like a massive spike in my sensitivity… As if my DPI is shooting WAY WAY up… This is very problematic, sometimes I go to turn around and I end up doing a 360.

Someone said to switch from windowed to fullscreen but I only have a windowed full screen option.

I am experiencing the exact same issue. I have a Logitech G303 with DPI sensitivity set to 2250 and report rate set to 1000 reports per second. In-game mouse look speed is set to like, 3/10 on the slider.

Also, I am in Windowed (Full Screen) at 3440x1440 resolution.

I’m having this same issue. It doesn’t happen in any other game, and it didn’t happen back when I was playing retail at the beginning of BFA.

I’ve also been having the same issue, my cursor moves around normally but sometimes the camera look speed randomly accelerates and I can’t control my character.

Same and logitech too, any solution?

This has been driving me crazy. Nobody else I ask this to knows what I mean. I’ve tried changing my mouse DPI lower and in game sens higher, tried changing mouse setting in the control panel, did a bunch of stuff from older threads. Nothing worked and it’s really obnoxious. Sometimes I even notice my mouse movements being choppy and that’s how I know the next time I turn my camera it’ll freak out

Seems to happen less often when I switch to 500hz polling rate from 1000hz for a temporary solution at least.

This happens to me with a generic mouse, very annoying

This has been a known issue since WoW first launched. To my knowledge there is no fix.

I had this problem and it seems to have resolved by disabling the “max FPS” background, foreground setting. Give that a shot.

That seems to have reduced the frequency, but it still happens occasionally.

Same problem here. I am on a G502. I will try the Max FPS Background fix.

If you can find the settings, reduce your polling rate to 125hz, 250 should also work but most claim 125 is the sweet spot.

Idk what I did, but I had the same issue… and I clicked a button on my logitech mouse… and it fixed it…

I assume it was a different hz setting.

To fix this issue type the below whilst in game

/script SetCVar(“rawMouseEnable”, 1);

If it continues to happen after logging out and back in, macro the above. Fixes it every time.

I’ve never had this issue since I started playing WoW in from Cata through Legion, has to be an issue with classic.

I’ve had this issue for the longest time that I’ve come to just get used to it. I would wonder every time if it was a rogue that just distracted me.

Gonna try that macro. Thanks.

Giving this a shot, thank you Aphia!

I played late Cata till late Legion. Never had it happen once. Just classic

Tossin’ my hat into this rig. Logitech G700s (running wired). I have look sensitivity (in game) set to absolute lowest, and even messed with the ‘mouse sensitivity’ (in game). Then went on to change the DPI settings.

…nothing works.

Didn’t happen in BFA; stopped playing right before the Darkshore WF. Doesn’t happen in any other game.

Will try the script, but c’mon. Why is this happening if Classic is built off the Retail client???
