World pvp how does one mount mid combat and fly away? with 2 players on him…….

Shadowmeld, anything that drops combat.
If you were up against a Night Elf…? Shadowmeld.
Hunter? Feign Death.
Timing just needs to be perfect.
Damage doesn’t break the mounting cast anymore so anything that lets you drop combat will let you mount unless it gets disrupted by CC.
Undead DK dont have shadowmeld.

ah horseman hero talent lets you fight while mounted in non-instance pvp. I’m pretty sure they can just mount in combat and you can’t really stop it.
Prob an exploit then, blizzard won’t fix it don’t worry.

How is he doing this? hes still in combat from gripping the player after dismounting?
No idea honestly, he shouldn’t be able to mount in the air. Best you can do is report it explain what you saw and hope blizzard does something.
Death Knight hero talent. Allows them to mount mid combat. Just lock the death knight down with roots, slows, etc.

Doesn’t work while in the air. They can’t hop on their flying mount when in the air.

Except he’s not mounting in the air, just in combat. He grips the player and at the same time moves forward towards the ground so that the forward momentum drops him to the ground quicker, and hes able to mount again as soon as he touches the ground.
There is a shadowmeld potion now.
Likely using something to slow fall or a glider.
That person and their friends fly around uses all the world buffs and cheese they can to kill people in war mode just avoid them or turn war mode off. It’s not worth your time unless you can get a larger number of people together but… People don’t use LFG for wpvp or even brother with wpvp unless it’s to grief people so that’s unlikely.

I know the dude doing it, and I can assure you, he isnt mounting mid air. Some people just dont remember events perfectly or describe them with 100% accuracy. I already said here:

Because I’m explaining how it works and already confirmed that mounting in combat is a bug, it’s the hero talent that allows them to do so. Its supposed to work only on Acherus Deathcharger, but it works on all mounts for some reason.
Mounting midair isn’t a thing unless youre a druid or if it were Hallow’s End with the instant cast broom mount.
that talent only lets them use there deathcharger, not a flying mount. It’s clearly exploiting.
