UPDATE: The Bind on Account Water Boots price is 40g and will require Anglers reputation. One main concern regarding the water strider debacle

In the livestream the senior game designer said there is “an ever present problem where there is one mount that is incredibly powerful” that mount, obviously, being the water strider and it’s innate water-walking abilities. He goes on the highlight why this is the case considering many zones(including ones in BFA) have stream and puddles. But why is this a problem? Easy Fix for the Water Strider Outrage

Make the Water Strider exempt from benefiting from mount equipment, like the Shredder Golem will be, and let it keep the water walking perk by default. Makes sense, offends nobody, the mount loses a lot of power compared to live. It’s dumb to have a water striker without built in water walking. That would be like needing an Airborne equipment so my wind rider could…ride the wind.
