Mount equipment *sigh*

I’m not sure you know what that word means. People earned it they can use it.

If you think every bit of content from previous expansions should be reset, say that. Don’t muddy the waters with your passive aggressive abuse of the English language.

Have the bothered to fix the issues with the mounts that are unable to jump out the water high enough to activate water walking?

Havent seen anything about it and it was a rather large list…

Who cares about water walking. I’m ready to not be dazed off my mount every time I do a WQ.

Because that mount does keep it. It just has to obey the laws of the other mounts. It would be pretty unfair if one mount could get the daze ignore and water walking. That’s why the Sky Golem doesn’t get mount equipment.

Not everyone played this game for 8 years, my friend.

People earned Legion artifacts and powered them up fully, now they’re gone. I’m sorry you felt entitled over a walker-walking mount introduced 7 years ago and were naive enough to think it would function that way forever.

And I’m going to roflmfao at everyone who thought this was a good idea when it’s “retired” next expansion and you have nothing the the good feeling that you got a participation trophy for 12 months and Blizzard even took that away.

This is the first step for Blizz to make “flying mount” gliders.

You can keep thinking that, and look sillier every time you copy and paste it into ever “MUH STRIDURZ!” thread.

We’ll be out here in reality, though.

And this says it all. people want to take something other people earned because it’s “unfair”. No it’s not unfair, we put in the work for a mount tha had the innate ability to walk on water it’s being taken away because some people are to lazy to make water walking potions or work and get the mount themselves.

That’s not the point. It’s actually broken. Here’s an example. Let’s say that there is no limit on how many times a player could upgrade their Benthic Gear. What if they leveled it all the way up to ilevel 600 and one-shot Azshara? That’s broken.

But it’s not! You can equip the gear whenever! Do I need to keep repeating myself?

What! Are you telling me in one post blizzard takes thing away for previous expansion and then going to the next and saying Blizzard would never take that away. Which is it, do they remove stuff or leave it in, make up your mind.

Of course, if we had been flying by 6 months into the expac, this likely wouldn’t be an issue, would it?

Something we can already do via pots . . .

And this is exactly what it feels like.

Semper Fi! :us:

Agree… but the same people supporting this garbage are more than likely the same people who support pathfinder part two as well…

Yes, I have tried to tell you and your ilk this sever times in past threads, but for some odd reason, you continue to, y’know, not get it. Legion artifacts, for example, retired, but were replaced by Azerite traits. Gems from the prior expansions make way for new ones made with new mats, and so on.

You keep trying to sell us this Chicken Little story about Mount Equipment being retired with no replacement or similar system; this is your personal doom & gloom scenario that makes you look foolish everytime you spout it.

I also don’t understand why posts like these come up when it has been said multiple times that if you want the water shoes you STILL need Angler rep as it is the only source.

You can get them via Angler rep OR professions.
And professions can sell them in the AH, so if you have gold there is no need to do extra work.

That’s not the same thing as a mount. Try this one. Should the drakes from TBC still fly?

A month from now, almost all of the current QQers will be using non-waterstrider mounts to water walk when needed. (In the odd case in which someone actually wants to use the waterstrider, they’ll equip it for a nominal fee.)

I don’t really empathize with the umbrage being taken, but the complaints seem a bit hollow to me.

It is now, that is the point.

Adapt, or move on.
