It completely gone from my main and on my alt I didn’t even receive it in the mail.

Is your alt level 100? The only alts I got it in the mail was the alts level 100 or above. None of my lower-level alts got an equipment. I believe that was intended.

Same here - mount equipment just disappeared… awesome system they decided to thrust upon us… After looking through the forums it looks like no one at Blizzard has commented or explained why the system is so broken. *slow clap

Same, mount equipment gone and the effect also gone. Guess I still need the same stuff I was using, because their GORGEOUS new system works so well!!

This happened to me as well. But i think it bugged when I installed it because all my mounts got water walking. I’m guessing it wasn’t supposed to work that way.

that’s exactly how it’s meant to work.
(apart from the bit where the item disappears)

? this was never stated.
The item is account-bound.
The abilities are per character, and there was never any hint they would be account-wide.

for me, all the water walking slots on my alts are empty, AND the effect doesn’t work anymore, EXCEPT on… my water strider!

after seeing a few people mention this, i tried my strider… but no such luck.
equipment is just gone, and i want my water walking back!
…not much point paying to replace it if it’s just going to keep disappearing. :frowning:

Same happened to me. All gone, from all characters I had applied it to. Effect also gone. :frowning:

Same, not applied and the effect is gone. However, I went a bought a replacement at my garrison and tried to replace it, and it won’t let me put anything in the slot! It gives the message that putting the new one in will destroy what’s already there (which shows as nothing), and then even if I click yet, nothing happens.

Same here. The slot showed empty for the last 2-3 days, but still worked. Today the effect stopped working and I’m not walking on water any more.

OK, so I got it working again by accident by mounting my Bottom-Feeder. The ~ riding water mounts outside of the water in Nazjitar ~ is still working (applied it 1 or 2 days ago). Anyway, after using that in water, then riding it out of the water, my normal mount is water walking again. Still no icon in the Mount Tab though.

It appears I am not the only one having this issue. I wrote a ticket and did what they said to try and fix the issue. Seems like something is not working as intended. This started on one of my chars about a day ago.

Mine is gone too. I still get the water walking effect on most mounts, but not with the Mechanized Lumber Extractor or Sky Golem. I really would like to walk on water while picking herbs =/

Mount equipment doesn’t affect those two mounts, so you’re not missing out.

Same thing has happened to me today - the item is not in the slot. However I do still have the effect as of right now.

it was my baby dark iron hunter whose equipment vanished.
(some people play more than one character)

well is just gets weirder and weirder.

if I rename /interface to /interface.old and restart the game (i.e. nuking all addons), the water walking gear becomes visible in my mount UI.

however, if I simply DISABLE ALL ADDONS and reloadui, the water walking gear ISN’T visible, even though no addons are active.

this makes no sense to me at all. what is the difference between loading the game with a blank /interface/addons folder, and turning all addons off before relogging/reloadingui? the should achieve exactly the same thing.

EDIT: this means that I can’t just disable addons consecutively to see which one is causing a problem, because disabling ALL of them still shows the problem, but completely wiping the addons folder and restarting the game fixes the problem. AIEEEEEE!

This scares me away from using any equipment if I’m just gonna lose it every so often. It’s not even been acknowledged, has it?
