Did a random night Firelands run to test if the unbalanced damage had been fixed (looks like it was) and bam! got it in Ragnaros’ chest 
(EDIT: and outside of the instance was Terrorpene waiting to be tamed! )

Not really. It shows I have 493 mounts when my actual count is 535.
Am I missing something when it comes to updating the mount collection achievement?
I was sitting at 327 mounts according to the achievement. I unlocked mounts from Glory of the Legion Hero and Glory of the Argus Hero, and my mount collection number didn’t change. I just received the Headless Horseman’s Mount (yay), and it went up to 328.
I logged on to all my characters to see if it would update to include the Glory mounts, but nothing has changed it from 328. In the past, I’ve seen the mount collection number jump by 2,3, or 4 at a time. Seems like I’m missing something.

Been trying for the Headless Horseman’s mount on (6) characters since the Hallow’s End world event started. Still no luck.
Hoping I get it this year. Been farming for this mount for years when the event is up.

Question… Do people post by how many mounts they can use on one toon? Or by how many mounts they have total?
We were using a number under the Statistics page but that count was removed in 9.0.
If you have less than 400, I would use your achievement tracker.

Oh I knew about that! I was just curious what the majority used. I saw someone using total mounts that are counted by the armory and not the statistics page that is sadly gone. :’<
I seen that too but I wasn’t going to say anything because I didn’t want to be a jerk. The problem with the Armory is it counts your Alliance duplicates

I just count by the achievement bar. I don’t have very many mounts though.
