Just looted my 744th usable mount from the Looking for Raid (LFR) version of the Tomb of Sargeras raid! My newest mount is the Abyss Worm! 
This mount has the chance to drop off every difficulty on the boss, Mistress Sassz’ine!

As a result, I’m now (1) mount from having 800 collected account-wide!

Nope.
Most strategies depend on a “/tar” macro and lots of macro spamming.
Let’s be honest, anyway. Most players outlevel the content there so badly that depending on the rare map marker doesn’t help, since the rare will almost certainly be dead before you get there if you aren’t camping the correct spawnpoint.
Yeah definitely, I was waiting with the macro but thought I could wait and hear the alert.
Got it 3 hours later after a lot of mousewheeling.
Also [Furbolg] is a nice way to communicate cross-faction w/ other campers. I like it.
If I remember correctly, the actual rare is the add that drops the lasso to “catch” the dragon

Just earned my 747th usable mount for my main in-game for successfully completing the Dragonflight meta achievement, A World Awoken!
My newest mount as a result is, Taivan! I also earned the Grotto Netherwing Drake: Black Scales for completing the dragonriding achievements that are part of the meta.
I also reached 800 mounts account-wide now too!
