Mount Collection Achieves through 800+

I think it is gorgeous and I want it! Now!

Shhhhhhhh!

Blizzard will hear you and you must know by now they don’t know the difference between update and change and the next thing you know Ashes of Alar will a giant ridable puce Moonkin!

Aww their updates aren’t bad. I loved what they did to the tallstrider mounts.

Classic tallstrider to new strider. So they don’t mess it up all the time!

That is the first good job I have seen.

BUT notice even that one is not just an update, they had to add spots.

Now I like it better with the spots but it is still an actual change from the original.

The only model I would like to see them update is the Quel’dorei Steed but only because it is unusable in it’s current shape (which is odd because I use older mounts than it and they don’t look that bad) so it is not like they could make it worse.

I have a list of mounts I want them to update:

  • Human and belf Paladin mounts. Use the BfA horse as a base.

  • The old original wolves. Raptors and Kodos held up but not the these guys.

  • I agree with you on the Quel’dorei Steed and Zhevra. They should update them to the Skymane base model.

  • Headless Horsemen’s mount and the Fiery Warhorse

  • OG Warlock mount

  • Forsaken mounts

  • OG bears. Their pixels are showing so badly that they have sharp elbows.

  • Nelf cat models should be updated to the Darkshore cats.

  • Corrupted and Blazing Hippogryph to the Cloudwing model.

  • Upgrade wyverns to the MoP model.

I prefer they add more mounts and leave my old favorites alone. I might start a riot if my OG warlock mounts were changed. If people wanna ride flashier newer models, good on them, but much like I never asked them to make my gnome alt look angry/constipated, I don’t want my gloriously hard won 'lock mounts messed up.

Isn’t Midnight a relatively recent model? I think it’s…based on the Forsaken mount you can get with a Vicious Saddle, right? That’s WoD?

Oh wait, you included Forsaken mounts as well. That’s probably why lol

Blah I meant the Headless Horsemen’s mount, not Midnight. I listed the same mount twice.

I don’t. They are heading towards mount bloat, hell we might already be there.

They added 130+ in Shadowlands alone. For a collector that’s really daunting. I feel like I’m never going to catch up.

I’d like to see a PVE version of the Gladiator mount

Me too. There’s a teal version that’s not being used. They could add that to a mount collecting achievement. I would also like to see the black bee for one of the bench marks.

Would be nice to see

800???
Haha Ive got almost every rare raid and dungeon mount in game up to Thunder King raid
Now im not a common mount collector but still I have 270 mounts and am missing 2… How is there 800 in game?
I know theres like 400+… but 800… haha

I definitely do not want them touching this one…

Or these…

No! No, no, no, no, no.

The skinny look makes them!!!

Blizzard would plumb them up like they did the later horses and talbuk on Draenor. Despite having two or three of those, my draenei paladin is still using her Silver Talbuk from Outland over them because they look so… overfed.

This is pretty much where I sit.

See: https://www.dataforazeroth.com/leaderboards/account-mounts

Tens of thousands of kill for the Tol Barad fox kit and still no Rivendare horse broke me of the collection obsession. Now I collect for fun as the mood strikes me.

A fiery version of the glacial tidestorm would be cool

the mount collection stuff is beyond played out and means nothing at all

no idea what that means. as if anything else in this game means anything at all lol. using your logic raids, dungeons, pvp are all played out too

yes this is true

Every 50 mounts past 500 should give you a token to trade in for any mount of your choice in the game.
