They eschew magic, wear razor sharp plate, and are very dangerous in melee combat. Sounds like a warrior to me.
I agree. Mages are responsible for the Sunderingâthatâs a lot of juice, even if it was through use of the Well of Eternity.
Second, I think Druid. Malfurionâs a demi-god.
Third, I wouldâve put Death Knights or Paladins. They have skills with a blade AND magic.
A mortal warrior was the only being to land an injury on Sargeras.
Wardens can use magic. Blink was originally a Warden ability from WC3. Along with Avatar of Vengeance.
warriors have an avatar too, and thunderclap etc. Those arenât really âmagicâ.
We should actually probably talk about those for a second because I am definitely thinking that those two things are some magic.
they really arenât. consider it potent physical abilities. Stomping the ground so hard you cause sparks to fly out out effortlessly closing the distance to a target. Avatar is like getting so angry you become unstoppable
S Tier:
Death Knight.
Demon Hunter.
Warlock.
S Tier classes are basically the forbidden knowledge group. All of these classes wield extreme power on average, but it comes at a pretty hefty cost.
A Tier:
Paladin (S Tier if theyâre fighting Undead or Death Knights though).
Mage.
Druid.
A Tier classes are basically the cream of the crop of the âmainstreamâ classes. Chances are that if a BAMF doesnât wield dark/forbidden magic, theyâre one of these classes. Shamans are borderline A/B tier, so I figured Iâd mention them here. Paladins are promoted to S tier whenever theyâre fighting Undead because of a massive type advantage.
B Tier:
Priest
Shaman
Rogue.
These classes are good based more on their utility than their direct power. Shamans are much stronger than Priests on average (or at least more focused on offensive aspects), and Rogues escape C tier because unlike in other RPGâs, where their strealth and whatnot come from mundane means, WoW Rogues have a pretty broad toolkit of both magical and mundane tools and abilities that give them a lot of versatility.
C Tier:
Warrior
Monk
Hunter
C tier are purely physical users. Monks are borderline B tier, since many Monks technically use forms of magic, but for the most part all of these classes are your stock standard martial characters.
These arenât individual power rankings. The strongest Warrior might be stronger than the strongest Paladin or the strongest Mage might outclass the strongest Warlock, but rather where the average âadventurerâ of each class would lie.
Thereâs naturally going to be a lot of Warriors and Hunters since theyâre pretty much the only options open to those without the skill or talent to pursue magical paths, and with demonic knowledge or necromancy being a high risk/high reward kinda field, any Demon Hunter, Warlock or Death Knight who doesnât fall victim to their own magic, is probably going to be pretty darn formidable.
Tried, broke foot.
Instructions were unclear.
well youâre a paladin, I donât expect you to have the grace and martial prowess of a warrior!
At least u can flash of light that foot back to normal. I have to punch the blood out of my targets and use it to heal my wounds!
blink however IS a mage ability, so magic. they also possess the ability âfan of bladesâ, which suggests to me that theyâre just rogues with some inherent magical abilities as former âpriestessesâ of elune. they started out as priests and became rogues, maiev in certain continuities outside of the game is even sometimes lumped in with rogues.
True, mages are the best.
But Guldan, kilajeden and archimonde are all warlocks. They could be tied tho
