I will share mine. Keep in mind this is subjetive:
S tier:

5. Demon Hunter

Arms Warrior worst spec in WoW, worst lore of any class.
Mage should be #1.
Kael’Thas was a mage, Jaina, Azshara, Thalyssra.
A priest like Anduin can bring back an entire army from the brink of death (and in special cases can bring people back from the ACTUAL dead), I’d put that in a much higher tier personally. xD
For lore I think DK, Paladin and DH are the most powerful. DK and DH are hero classes for a reason.
I don’t think it’s that straightforward. It really depends on the individual.
We know fel magic is stronger than arcane, but a better mage can beat a lesser skilled warlock. And warriors have brought down many powerful beings before too. There’s notable people from every class in history. Besides we all know monks are the most OP anyways. 
S tier: Warlock, Mage, Shadow Priest
A tier: Balance/Resto Druid, Paladin, Death Knight,
B tier: Holy Priest, Demon Hunter, Elemental Shaman
C tier: Enhancement/Resto Shaman, Monk, Rogue, Hunter
D tier: Prot Warrior, Feral Druid
F tier: Fury/Arms Warrior
I think canonically being a pure magic caster has the highest power ceiling. They tap into the main forces of Azeroth and can wreck armies from afar.
Aside from being meat shields, Warriors are just F tier. Any magic class of equal skill in their craft obliterates them. Just see what Thrall does to Garrosh when he gets a little serious.
S tier (world destroyer or healer/god killer): warlock, demon hunter, mage, druid
A tier (incredibly powerful by mortal standards): priest, paladin, deathknight
B tier (strong among mortals, specialized knowledge required): shaman, monk
C tier (basic bros with a weapon): warrior, rogue, hunter
Warrior>every other class.

WTF, Shaman =Thrall, yet Blizzard decided to make them bench warmers but in the golden days of Classic they were boss.
After the introduction of this force called Anima, it heavily depends on the individual.
I highly doubt an Average Death Knight would win against a Subtlety Rogue who’s gained strength, knowledge, and experience from numerous souls they’ve feasted on.

Monks never defeated anything but two common ally and horde grunts. And fell to garosh and ale species quickly.
Base warriors are technically grunts
Hunters and rogues without poisons have no lore power or moments beyond Rexxar who never shows up anywhere.
I don’t understant why people put paladin too high. Tyrion and uther were not op
Saurfang, an Arms Warrior, has killed more players than any other non-raid boss NPC (although I’m not sure… he may have killed more than anything other than Elevators).
He got owned by sylvannas easily. I felt shame for him
That was Anduin’s fault. Anduin made him switch specs to Fury.
He shoulda stayed Arms.

Anduin kills more people through stupidity i wouldn’t be surprised if the best way to kill Nzoth would be for Anduin to befriend him and feed him terrible ideas until Nzoth would relish the thought of jumping off a cliff repeatedly. Like Saurfang.
