Demon Hunter should be D tier: Delete it.
if i had to make a list from top (strongest) to bottom (weakest):
-
warlock (soul and fel manipulation) tied with paladins when they get serious (the whole âresurrectionâ/spirit destruction thing they do) and mages for sheer power and versatility.
-
demon hunters (physically they dominate but since warlocks can basically siphon off and absorb fel energy/souls the whole âi can never die permanentlyâ factor becomes meaningless, as do their fel powered arsenals of abilities)
-
shamans/druids, both will basically weaponize the environment against you, you wonât know when or from where the instant death will come from, just that it WILL come .
-
death knights, rogues, and monks (death knights and monks have the whole army of one cliche to keep them in this weight class, and i feel like stealth and the element of surprise shouldnât be over looked, and it isnât since select classes in the 2 and 3 spots can âSenseâ hidden opponents).
-
hunters/warriors, for the most part the more âbasicâ physical fighters, hunters would be ranked about 4th if not for being slightly more limited than a druid, warriors are perhaps the easiest in the group to take down.
this list is a general scale and under certain circumstances is fluid, so donât take it as a solid hierarchy as under some specific combat scenarios some of these can move up so much as 2 rankings.
I bet Sylvanas hates being ranked C Tier.
Sylvannas is a warlock with bow literally
I donât understand why people rank paladin so high.
Just look at Tyrion and uther they got owned easily as well as other members of silver hand
Thats true. Paladin are not so powerful like mages and warlocks.
Paladins are just a priest with physical capabilities
I dunno about full tier list but I Def would not put druid at the top. The only reason I say that is because I just started hanging out in valâsharah again - and run into a couple areas where Druids are being corrupted (again). Itâs happened In other expansions over and over - it just feels like Druids and nature in general is easily corruptable and it takes dragons, Demi gods and us (adventurers) to always bail us out.
That said - priests, demon hunter and mages appear to always be top tier lore wise - especially with heroes frequently appearing in the game.
Unfortunately. Warriors seem to get rekt all the time saurfang and garrosh are two that come to mind. Also two of my favorite orcs.
If dragons are a class (they will be someday ) i say they are mid tier too - for the same reason as Druids. Easily corruptable and often require aid to save them.
In a world a magic, there has to be someone with a big stick.
Plus, what about characters who switch classes?
Take Illidan, for instance. He was, by all accounts, a very skilled and powerful mage, and then he invented demon hunters and became a very powerful demon hunter. So how much of his power was due to the relative strengths of demon hunter vs. mage and how much was just Illidan being Illidan?
Looks like you forgot to put shaman in a tier
Medivh, Khadgar etc
for one thing they canât succumb to the plague blight that the undead scourge/forsaken use, since theyâre immune to all diseases, secondly since theyâre discount priests who specialize in using the light for offense/defense primarily instead of healing i would imagine vaporizing someone with the light would be much easier for them, bear in mind that high exarch turalyon is a paladin and one of the major reasons for the legionâs defeat on argus. much like other classes they do have levels of mastery and power as well as natural talent.
considering what a well balanced and highly skilled/learned priest can do using shadow and holy magic for ranged/AOE damage, iâd think more people would find it terrifying to put one in combat armor and give them muscles. velen for instance in legion destroyed at least one mid to high ranked fel demon as well as turalyon facing a few armies of them.
I feel bad for Shaman since I was a Shaman main for many moons. It is obvious they are the red headed step children of WoW but my goodness no respect.
according to lore she is a hunter âOr dark rangerâ never heard of her referred to as a Warlock
You speak nonsense, everyone in the physical realm knows itâs impossible to gain strength from the Death.
Imo its this
S tier
- Mage
- Druid
- Warlock
A tier - Demon hunter
- Shaman
- Priest
B tier - Death knight
- Paladin
- Monk
C tier - Rogue
- Hunter
- Warrior
I wish they would show rogues doing more in cinematics and lore
nonsense. Before they nerfed things into oblivion there used to be things that were completely immune to magic and needed a sword to the face to kill. These things ate mages for breakfast and could only be dispatched by someone who wasnât a weakling in robes relying on spells to fight. Go figure the stronger the weapons, armour and will of said warrior, the more obscene their damage dealing can become, and no amount of magic can stop it. Just an FYI, things like Spellbreakers and Wardens are effectively warriors and they eat magic wielders for breakfast.
A mage soloed the avatar of Sargeras and lived.
From what Iâve read in the Subtlety Artifact this is exactly how theyâve worked. Also when fighting Sylvanas for FTA Achievement she also do have an ability called âVanishâ
