Most of the complaints here are about PvP servers

To barrow from your incorrect analogy, if you want to wander around the business end of a shooting range, you can’t complain when you get hit with real bullets from time to time.

Why are you bringing that up here? Also a 5 man team is still able to be easily killed by 2-3 people.

I also don’t multibox… as I’ve said before.

So in this situation, the Alliance is at the end of the range and the Horde are the ones firing the guns?

Fun. And accurate, sadly.

This is exactly how vanilla was. A handful of people didn’t understand what “PVP sever” meant - but somehow they knew that PvE server meant “carebear”. And nobody wants to be a ‘carebear’

Just for that authentic classic experience we have threads like “Bliz suxors - I unsub” and “PvP happened on a pvp server, not right! - they made me bleed my own blood - this isn’t fair”. This authentic classic experience is going well.

You CHOSE to be on that range. Don’t be upset at the game because you made a poor choice.

theres pvp that happens on a pvp server, then theres pvp that happens on a balanced pvp server

the complaints are legitimate

No, it’s not. It didn’t take 6 deaths to go from your own flight path to the other side of the zone. The massive population cap is the reason there’s so many people unable to actually do anything.

Uh huh. And what about all the Horde that “chose” to be the ones firing the bullets?

What about them? They made the same choice, they just got lucky to have more guns.

I’m sure this has been said a million times before and will be said a million times again, if unbalanced pvp is an issue for you, don’t play on a pvp server because that’s where it happens.

There haven’t been balanced PvP servers in the game since launch. Some become balanced over time, as people leave for PvE servers or reroll other faction.

But there has always been imbalance!

Ah, so if it doesn’t affect you, then why care about it, right? I’m also PVE, but I don’t shut my eyes to problems like Blizzard does.

If they NEVER interfered with the populations in the first place, then we could support their deaf ear “we don’t give a crap” approach. But they helped breed this problem with their bad transfers. They fueled this problem and helped the imbalances get worse. Then they just left it that way.

And you don’t see it as an issue that nearly every server has exactly the same issue? I don’t mind imbalanced PvP, I mind the world being shut off to one faction.

You do realize that we have 3-4x the player cap in Classic than we did in vanilla, right? So any imbalance is significantly bigger here - as 20% of 2k is a lot smaller than 20% of 10k.

You only read half. I mean dang if you can’t rez the least you can do is spend an extra 2 seconds to read.

and yes - I agree - it’s even BETTER then the the original - action happening in multiple zones - ENJOY IT while it last. I look forward to see how future phases play out.

It’s not even Sunday yet. The trolls need to try harder then this.

This is all nothing new. The same thing happened in Vanilla (though server pops on the whole were smaller).

Once paid transfers were allowed, the problems alleviated somewhat; migration from the server or to opposing faction alleviated the problem even further.

But NO PvP server pop was ever “balanced” by a long shot.

Of course a Horde thinks this is great.

Proportionally, the imbalance is about the same.

No one cares if a realm is 50/50 or not. That’s probably never happening anyway.
What they care about is a realm being 30/70. (or rather, not being that bad)

Yes… with a much larger gap in the amount of players. In the same areas that were built for 3k max players.

No PvP server ever started out balanced but again, over time populations became more balanced.

yes but compared to nostalrius our imbalances are horrible
