Most fun tank?

In your opinion what do you think the most fun tank to play is?

Bear.

It’s between prot warrior and brewmaster for me.

Depends on what you like.

A fish tank.

Hands down Monk. I played every other tank specialization and I can safely say that brewmaster is the most engaging.

I enjoy Bear for many reasons.

It’s simple so I can be more aware of my surroundings. Great defensives and self healing. I LOVE my utility.

Really depends on what aspect of tanking you find enjoyable in the first place.

That said, I think VDH, BDK, and BrM are the more interesting of the tank specs.

Second this. I’ve been working on leveling all tanks to find one for myself. While I can say I’ve only leveled them so I cannot speak to end game numbers and performance mileage, fun factor for me was highest on pally. I felt the safest and like I had the most tools to get out of jams when they inevitably occurred. It was the last tank I tried because it was the one I had the least interest in thematically, but it turned out to be my favorite by a large margin.

I tried druid, dk, and dh tank and they weren’t interesting to me.

I main a healer so being able to play a tank that can drop heals on the group or use things like BoP + Blessing of Sacrifice on the healer to save them was appealing.

Prot also has the combo point system and a lot of constant procs so you’re always pushing buttons. DK tank was the most boring because you spent a lot of time auto attacking.

Definitely guardian. Because bear. And stealth, which can come in very handy.

Brew is probably the most active mitigation tank, if you like pressing buttons and feeling like you’re doing stuff.

I’m a tank main and play all tanks at end game(plus most healers). They are all fun in their own way.

Blood DK is likely my favorite to pug with because I’m so self-sufficient. I also love Anti-Magic She’ll and other DK utility.

However, Protection Pally is also extremely fun. I like having party utility and heals. Plus so many caster interrupts.

Brewmaster is amazing.

Vengeance DH is fun for zippity be bopping around.

Bear is fun just to literally thrash around like a wild animal in a mosh pit.

All tanks are fun and have a unique playstyle. Pick the flavor/style you like best and give it a go.

I’m a Patton fan but Shermans are awesome as well!

Prot pally > brew = bear > DH is my fun ranking. Never tried prot warrior or DK.

Mechagnome druid bear form.

Ranked in order of fun (from the ones I’ve tried)

Prot Paladin
Bear
BDK
Brew
Warrior

Now Warrior and Brew aren’t bad by any means, it’s just Warrior felt rather similar to Bear and I’ve been maining a Druid for nearly 3-4 years now so it just wasn’t as fun and exciting as it used to be for me.

Blood DK just has a lot of self-sufficient play styles that makes it a lot of fun (especially if you push yourself and challenge your tanking abilities).

Prot Paladin is just a decently higher APM tanking spec (with their off heals and utility) which is why I think they’re on the top of my list.

Bears in general are probably one of the most capable. Slightly biased, but with your choice of affinities, you play your way, and having all forms available to you, it’s hard to go wrong.
