What’s it matter pugs or coordinated groups? I just pugged and timed a +19 yesterday and 2 other +19s with last weeks affixes.
Ok, just go look at the current season Mythic+ ranking, it’s not prot paladin. I don’t want to argue the difference of a core team vs random strangers for Mythic+ to you though.

Sure, but that’s boring and doesn’t affect survivability at all as a tank, so screw that.

I am talking about overall, “Mythic+ Rankings for All Tanks (SL Season 2)”. Specifically stating a key doesn’t help the OP.
Ok… and that still makes paladins 3rd place at 21% of all representation across all key levels. With a gap of .4% away from being tied for 1st. What are you even arguing, did you even look at the stats?
Flashiest to me its either DH or Pally. Paladins also have some really good mogs if you’re into that.
Although personally I enjoy Bear, Prot and even BDK over those two specs
Bonus for pally, the constant sound of throwing pots and pans down the stairs!

If you go to other websites that basis the data (not off of professional teams that are in sync and play upon each others strengths and weakness) like Icy-Veins. You will see they are the very last on the tier list currently in Shadowlands. I am done derailing this thread and arguing with you now lol.

I’m sharing real data and statistics with you on keys run so far in season 2 from RIO/blizzards own API. You are focused on some tier list some guy made.
I think all tanks are fun atm they seem to be in a good spot…DH/Pally tanks can do so much self heals it’s ridiculous. I’m not sure about monk tanks but I think the rest are pretty solid
Using your anecdotal evidence of timing your key doesn’t help your argument anymore than a website that pulls the overall data lol.
I shared anecdotal evidence to showcase that paladins are capable of high keys, even with pugs.
The real data I shared was from Blizzard’s own API data on RIO that shows every key ever completed and timed. All keys. Based on real data and statistics Paladins represent 21% of all keys being run. They are still 3rd place in keys +15 and up in addition to +20 and up. These are not just M+ teams, this data is largely made of pugs.

Of all the innumerous HMP’s I’ve had the group with over the years, the sound combined sound of “ding, ding, dang, hurahh” might be one the one most ingrained sound bits from WoW at my memory at this point.

Of course they are capable of high keys lol, any class is. Your class isn’t the first spot, nor the second, nor the third, nor the 5th overall. Then you tried to argue my point about pugs (grouping with random strangers) and you used your evidence of professional teams to do it. /endofdiscussionlol. 
Demon hunter, monk, death knight, paladin. The most flashy imo.
Just wanna say though i don’t do high keys, I’ve noticed as a healer its not very fun to heal bad prot pallies. Ive seen good ones but most tanks good or bad its not too hard to heal, but bad prot pallies feel like trying to heal a dps.
