Instant queue 60 man groups says otherwise. By comparison you can’t find 5 people for a dungeon in retail in reasonable time.

I think it’s wildly popular, but, that also means that many more people engaging with it means more people complaining, even if they are still the vocal minority.

To be fair, it was on the retail wow road map and advertised as a wow patch but other than the rewards that are tied to PS it gave us no actual wow content.

I definitely don’t hate that they try new things, it’s just they have such a habit of fumbling it just enough to make a lot of players angry.

…well that was a whole lot of nothing

Will Awakened Raids in 10.4 drop new colors for the tier sets we voted for? Or is it just the same colors we already have?

Because the insane raging over PS being PvP (ish) probably hit some critical mass of annoyingness and they threw this out so people maybe stop crying for a while.

I feel this statement had only one purpose to calm down the community after the mistakes done with Plunderstorm.

Now they announced a pve focused event, which is funny as Plunderstorm is PVE too, just that PVP is enabled as well and ruins it.

So my guess is, they come up with another event that will receive a lot of backlash either because it´s only for premade groups, it´s a race against the clock or some other niche that hardly anyone cares about.

To be fair,

if you truly want to make a unique PVE event, make something that everyone can play or release something where all the niches come together and work for a common goal.

Let the pvp folks pvp, let the raiders raid, let the lone wolfs hunt animals and lore, let the pet collectors battle…

Content, In game Content. For both PVP and PVE. It’s not hard Blizzard. Keep improving PVP and work on making raid cinematics less Disney and more Warcraft.

“Experimental content” sounds great, but please don’t forget that players are subscribed for the CORE content of this game. I believe most people DO NOT want another version of Plunderstorm; where it feels like a totally new game, foreign to WoW’s core gameplay, and yet, it received all the cosmetic rewards for this patch.

It’s fine to make experimental game modes - while actively updating the existing ones. We are currently in a content draught. S4 is re-using S3 art assets. I would have much preferred the Plunderstorm cosmetics to also be available in the core game content, as opposed to being locked behind a new, spin-off game, that y’all should have known wouldn’t appeal to most players. It makes it feel like our sub fees are developing somebody else’s content, not our own.

If we wanted to play Battle Royales, we wouldn’t be logging into WoW -.-

I’m sure the people who whined about plunderstorm will have nothing but positive feedback

You seem very dismissive about a wow patch that was advertised as a wow patch but was instead a limited time pvp battle royale with a renown track and FOMO rewards.

That’s exactly why they posted this but the tears flow anyway lol

“PvE event”
:dracthyr_crylaugh:

Also it’s me or that map of azeroth looks much bigger towards the left side trying to show us something?

I’m expecting the new “PvE Event” to be another sleeperbloom 3000 type event like they’ve been adding every patch.

Please no.

Hard to trust a company that has no idea what wings do in an expansion called dragonFLIGHT (race specific)

Little advice, if you make a race with wings, let them fly straight away… it makes sence, but the intelligents at blizzard is always bad. Took u people how long?.. what other things are you people going to hold back with the next expansion? To purposly make it worse for some retarded reason… gee lets see… :face_exhaling:

Its gonna be…Hydlide

It was a wow patch. It just wasn’t the wow patched they hyped themselves up for.
