The upcoming PvE experience I’d love to be surprised by.
Put simply, it’s an early introduction to TWW.
We discover a dilapidated titan facility, full of wondrous technical marvels. As player, like in Plunderstorm, you create a level one explorer and pick up various bits of tech that help defend you against hordes of… what ever narrative enemy connects to TWW, Nerubians, kobolds, what have you.
Renown tree unlocks standard mog, mounts, pets, etc. but just maybe, the last reward could be a new class.
Season 4 giving loads of players the opportunity to level, gear up, practice/play before TWW, letting the narrative embrace all new events. (Obviously the class would become available at launch or after some sort of pathfinder like achievement)
Huffing some serious hopium I know heh. Could be a slick, new and innovative/inventive way to incorporate a new class into the greater narrative.
Keep up the good work, really enjoying trying out all the content the WoW team has been creating/tinkering.

I mean. Speaking as someone who doesnt like Plunderstorm…creating something the entire wow playerbase will love is impossible. Theres too many groups of people who enjoy different things to be able to satisfy them all.

If you’re confused by the way many people seem to need to complain about everything, how they take everything as a personal attack, how they can’t just be happy and complain that even when they get what they want its just a relief and not something that makes them happy, about why they do all these things but are still here…
This is what addiction looks like, be it WoW or other much more destructive things.

We finally get a blizz employee like Holly who’s passionate and ready to communicate with the rest of us and you want to fire her?
Instead of inventing new characters we will not see outside of these Warcraft Experiences like captain Keg leg, draw from your pool of resources in the game. Harlan Sweete, Zem’Lan, even Nightsqwall would have been ideal candidates for this.
If Keg Leg doesn’t appear in the war within in any capacity outside of Plunderstorm, I will be rather upset.
Bonus points if he loses his other leg to one of the new “Swol-Bolds”, and is known thereafter as Captain Keg-Legs.
I want my artifact weapons back and be able to hunt for legendaries, bring back fire mage the way it was in 7.1
If it’s another game client mode please put oceanic you literally have infrastructure here.

Plunderstorm to me was a nice change of pace. Not wild about it as I don’t PvP, and my experience in game ranged from awful (killed 3x in a row without getting a coin or spell) to fun, despite losing all the PvP fights to really weird (a game that seemed very heavy with non PvPers avoiding each other.)
Got to 19 so far and the biggest plus for me is that it is fast and I can work towards stuff for retail.
It does however fill me with a bit of trepidation as to what a PvE event could entail. The dig quest, especially the 'training ’ bit was not well done.
The soup is actually my favorite because you can do the quest solo if necessary and it changes things up.
But the bugs…those add up to a negative experience.
True but the dumbs removed it due to “retarded blizzard reasons”
What was the dumb reason?

These short things are likely experimental into evergreen things, but sub based games will always have fomo as it’s a matter of money. Get over it.
That’s extremely stupid design.
There is no reason they need to and I’ll continue to tell Blizzard that happily.
If it’s secret like plunderstorm it’s aside from that. If it’s not, it’s definitely that.
what we really need is Vikings vs Ninjas vs Pirates…

I just want to make sure it’s very clear that the issue wasn’t solely that it was a PvP-Only event in a game with a large majority of players who only want to PvE.
That’s part of it. It’s always going to be part of it. We saw similar reactions way back in MoP when one step of the Legendary Quest required doing like 2 Battlegrounds.
But more than that, Plunderstorm is NOT PART OF WORLD OF WARCRAFT.
That’s one of the biggest reasons Plunderstorm’s reception has been so awful.
People want to play their characters, they want to play WoW. This was entirely removed from that for some reason.
If y’all wanted to make a BR, then make a BR, but don’t pretend it’s part of WoW.
