More World of Warcraft Experiences to Come

Yeah I want PvE content. Regular content on my existing characters, not some time-limited meme. Make Dragonflight Season 4 more fun. The planned changes are insufficient.

  • M0 queueable (no lockout) with a difficult entry requirement (no noobs allowed)
    • this is entirely because finding or forming a group as a dps wastes too much time
  • cap player ilvl in LFG dungeons so an overgeared player doesn’t make it trivial
  • rework the satchel system so that tanks and healers always get some reward (scaled with more demand) so dps has more-consistent queue times
  • fix timewalking dungeon scaling to be non-trivial (3x HP on everything, correct some damage outliers)
  • timewalking every week and more rewards
  • drop 50% more loot from raids
  • personal loot in LFR
  • remove all M+ affixes
  • cap M+ damage so that you never need to stack survivability to do the top keys
  • update the M+ group finder UI to include key level
  • M+ class balancing every 2 weeks
    • buff Affliction and other chronic underperformers (including tanks and healers)
    • nerf Vengeance and a few overperforming dps specs

Please no more trivial overworld content. Please give us something we can actually bite into. I want the world of warcraft to fight back sometimes.

I would rather have a Wow casino. Poker , 21, craps, Texas Holdem. Bar fights!

Thats fine if you think that way but I still think that some people need some self control. :dracthyr_shrug:

I like to collect transmogs and mounts, There are bunch of no longer obtainable elite pvp sets and gladiator mounts that I could’ve gotten but I’m not good at PvP and I don’t like PvPing in this game, mainly because I don’t find it enjoyable and its not worth my time forcing myself onto something that I don’t enjoy to get pixels on a screen. Same logic could be applied to Plunderstorm for many people here and in some threads I have looked through and participated in.

If “some people had self control” FOMO wouldn’t be such a prevalent tactic used by many gaming companies in many live service games.

…Ya mean “playing the event just to get the rewards, and quitting, therefore showing Blizzard it’s a success” sort of mass exodus until another event like this shows up and they mass come back and the cycle repeats?

Blizz is reading this and getting ready to drop a new sleeperbloom 3000 event like every other patch of DF.

Seems that Sleeper Bloom hurt you more than Blunderstorm hurt many of us.

Hope it’s something new and exciting for WOW and not another garbage spinoff that would barely qualify for a mobile game.

They’d have to do a sight better than pirate transmogs and a parrot mount to get me to give into FOMO.

I haven’t taken in any of the content that awards transmogs and pets … which had been most of the “new” content in Dragonflight.

Between the new talent system totally screwing how specs I like feel to play, the gold sink crafting system, and the over abundance of meaningless open world transmog and pet events, this expansion has been one of my least favorites.

It’s so boring.

And then I got the legendary on my DK that makes you do 8-10 of them.

That and the rare farm are sooooooo boring and stupid.

I feel bad for devs that need to work on that garbage. There is no way someone who is passionate enough about games to make it their job wants to work on trash like that. Like “here please design the most boring world content imaginable so we can add one every patch.”

I’m glad I’ve enjoyed the dungeons and raids, because I agree almost everything else about DF has been super boring.

I liked the dragon races I guess.

OH I had no idea LOL. I’m very casual so I won’t be getting the axe, hearing you have to pay close to 1m gold (not sure if that’s actually true) was just the nail in the coffin for me to have no desire to get it. You can do them on the hour and they count? You don’t have to do one then wait a week to get the next one done right?

I despise what “rares” have become.

I do agree with you though I hate the super bloom. I’m almost at the point where it won’t help my newer druid. I usually go to ED around 12-13 after the hour and hope I make the last boss lol.

What if its a PVE only Plunderstorm? That’s the rumor.

Where did you hear that?

I like how they have the rares on a rotation like they’re saying “Hey if you want that tasty achievement you better keep coming back to the Emerald Dream, maybe that one rare spawn you need will be up!” and my answer is always “F off I’m going to go play literally anything else.”

I just got the legendary last week so I haven’t finished all the step. I just completed the rare part yesterday and the superbloom this morning.

Yes you can do it on the hour, you get the quest items from the green/blue/purple bags and the final boss.

Maybe the mats were that expensive at the beginning, not now. It’s still expensive, I’ve bought all the mats for the 3 crafting orders and a ton of awakened elements for later. I’ve not kept a detailed list but I’ve probably spent about 150k so far. Not sure how much more I’ll need to spend. It helped I had 7 of the 10 shadow flame things already because those are 9k each right now so only spent ~27k instead of 90k there.

But I could only do the superblooms and rares for a bit then I had to take a break.

It’s almost like if you had announced Plunderstorm as PvP focused 2 months ago, you wouldn’t have gotten as much backlash.

“Don’t quit, there’s more coming in a few months, just wait!”

That’s it. That’s the post, summarized.

I do agree with this, at least getting a ‘new thing’ was nice, even if it wasn’t made specifically for me.

WoW is pretty stale these days.

You probably and most likely won’t read this but, despite what some people who always complain are saying, it’s nice to see you try some new ideas.

I tried Plunderstorm, found it too weird to get into but it seems there are people enjoying it, let them keep it but please remember that, to the folks that mostly pvp, it’s how classes interact with each other/tuning/design what really matters and makes the game fun (or miserable).

+1 for trying something new.
