Its not going to be hard to hit 609, merely replacing my legs and neck would get me most of the way there, and upgrades to my lower ilvl pieces the rest. Which from what i understand can be done without engaging in group content if i dont get the replacements from the bountifuls i have left this week.
Though i will be doing group content.
Considering 600 ilvl is the recommendation for t8s, why can you reach it in a week and some change(less than a week if you’re dedicated) by only engaging in one avenue of pillar content thats markedly easier than group content(in its current iteration) and some tangential crafting/side content?
If a player had dinged 80 grinded norm dungeons, then heroics and then done a single clear of normal raid in the span of a week would they also be 600 ilvl? Probably not.
Sure. As long as delves are just as hard and require as much time investment as Mythic raiding, and all the other things you’re suggesting.
They however do not. They are painfully easy.
Gear in MMOs has always across games been a proof of competency and/or time.
People who have brains that break down past the use of 2 or 3 skills and having to run out of the giant people swirly the boss is charging so not abs will never deserve what are essentially the rewards for not being an imbecile.
How about delves are tuned for vet track gear, only reward champ gear and a heroic piece once a week from the vault? You don’t need 639 gear to do a delve.
Serious question, if youre just doing solo content and group content is scary and mean, why do you need heroic+ level gear? To kill world mobs faster? If youre not trying to prog content i just dont see why everyone keeps complaining about needing hogger level gear. Seems like FOMO to me
Leave the rest of you alone? It literally doesnt effect you at all. Its all FOMO. If you arent doing high level group content theres 0 reason to complain about gear. Killing boars faster isnt a reason to get high ilvl gear, sorry
I was away from the game for a while, but I’m curious if this is the first time Blizzard has created content for solo players and made it more rewarding than relatively more challenging group content.
The fact that the solo content can be run in a group has created some interesting tuning challenges, because they don’t want to make it harder to solo or harder to run in a group, but in either case it’s interesting to see players reacting by trying to turn delves into another set of dungeons in order to make sure that peer-tested skill remains necessary for the best rewards.
I know Blizzard loves their solo players, and I love having a financially healthy WoW, so I’m not going to tell them what to do, but as a PvE player who is gearing up for mythic raiding because I do like challenging group content, I want to suggest that all of the PvE over-achievers who are upset by the idea that soloable content remains relatively rewarding should ask themselves whether they would like to see the best rewards in the game going to the best PvP players who don’t even do PvE because they think it’s too easy and boring.
Yeah my 3 mains have at least 4 hero track pieces already with my main main having all but 2 or 3 without setting foot in a raid or m+. Asking for more is outrageous
Your complaint is invalid as then I suppose gear should be uncapped for mythic raiders and let them go into infinity by that logic. No. We are limited by the gear they say is appropriate for the content.
To the degree that it currently is? No, this is the first time its been this rewarding.
I was able to completely out gear the need to do normal raiding by week 2 of the exp and i never set foot in a m+ before then.
You are not worth spending the time explaining AGAIN my position, one that everybody else seems to understand just fine, even if they disagree with it.
Just scroll up and reread, or don’t, do not care either way.
