More solo content - the future of WoW

if the difficulty is there i personally have no objections

it’s when people want myth track gear for trivial content that I get annoyed.

And then there’s a whole nother level of entitlement. “I think those people should be stuck with totally crap gear regardless of how much they play because it increases the power gap between them and me, and makes me feel better about my own life choices.”

Seems like it did get under your skin then since you’re denying reality point blank.

nah u could be an alt for all i know

I’m trying to imagine what the exact opposite of an “elitist raider or M+er” is. I feel like you maybe play Bridge with a bunch of octogenarians on weekends?

The cool thing is, this scenario does not exist in game.

We could change absolutely nothing about gear going into S2, and this statement does not describe current gameplay.

I think this is fair, and I’m mostly a solo player. Managing groups is damned hard work, and that’s part of why they get the primo rewards.

I am a solo casual player, I would like more solo content but I agree. Raids and dungeons require more effort that I am willing to put into, they should have better rewards.

My genuine question is this. Why do you care about better gear if you’re not playing with other people? You don’t have to worry about outdpsing people, you don’t have to worry about pvp, so what does the better gear actually do for you?

I’m not getting hung up on anything. You’re just flat out ignoring the facts.

Does affect me.

You now have people demanding mythic track gear from selves which negatively affects the game.

Notice the only people defending how easy delves are are the people that are getting heroic gear for the first time?

Delves either need to be more difficult or offer lower rewards.

They aren’t equal to the rest of the content that awards heoric gear in difficulty. I don’t understand why you’re struggling to understand this.

Pretty obvious with how hard you’re defending delves.

The irony.

Even solo delves are very easy/simple.

Technically, for those arguing against solo players getting gear because its too easy…PvP players should get vastly superior gear for all content since fighting real people is usually harder than AI. Seen the PvP players? in games like Arma, EVE, league of legends, even mortal online…call of duty/battlefield etc…not talking about the ones who fight easiest targets mind you, thats like fighting level 1 mobs as an 80…I mean REAL PvP. That is probably the most intense hardest challenging content.

Yet PVE gear is better in general (yes I know WoW has actual pvp gear, but top end PVE gear is often better depending on class than some pvp gear, though this is patch dependent). Also even IF pvp gear is better for PvP, it should still be vastly the best gear in the game since pvp is generally extremely intense and hard against the high end pvp players. Real players can always beat AI. And before one says “dont want to or like pvp” (which is also what people are saying that they don’t like mythic and want other ways to gear up for PVE)…well people are arguing the most challenging content should have vastly superior gear lol.

Because everyone likes to progress, and if you like to do any kind of PvP you need gear to survive.

Outside of the massively big ring that’s not even close to true.

This lane terrible argument again.

You really shouldn’t comment on things you have no idea what you’re talking about.

I am not sure “WoW PVPers deserve the best gear, because LoL and CoD is hard” is the right argument

more examples that PvP players generally are super hard to fight than AI. No game company has made a game with AI that is better than fighting actual players…I guess maybe chess AI can be kinda intense from what I heard though

But generally MMO AI is dumb (and to add, predictible and scripted).

But good for missing the point  I see the mythic or die players aren’t happy with that

I am not a mythic or die player.

I guess the “i want everything for free” players arent happy with having to actually play the game to get gear.

Didn’t respond to the point that MMO AI is dumb (and again, predictible and scripted) compared to fighting actual players. Which is generally vastly harder when you fight skilled PvPers.

Try again

No.

I am just dismissing the opinion of a “I want everything for free” player. Like you largely did with me.

WoW is not a pvp centric game. PVP gear should not be the central way to gear.

PVP gear is often the best for PVP.

As someone that has played high end in pve and pvp.

You’re absurdly clueless.

Try again.
