Friendly reminder that the report feature on this forum works very well if people use it. Let’s keep these discussions at least slightly civil using the tools we have.

Lol they really don’t, it’s like it is in the game, just about the number of reports. Go over a certain number = auto deleted.
I don’t think any mods actually look at reported posts, I’ve had posts mass reported before because people didn’t like my opinion, my post deleted and given a 24 ban.
That’s not at all how it works. Reports threshold is met, the post is hidden. Every reported post gets reviewed and the mods decide what to do with it. I’ve seen moderators edit and leave notes on posts on this forum.
I wish they did more of it. More moderation of the forums would be a very good thing.

Then explain the times I’ve had my own, and several friends/guildies posts deleted just because they were mass reported?
Simple posts about contentious topics like the boost or store mount.
You can believe what you want, but it’s pretty obvious it’s an automated system.
If your posts were deleted, it’s because a moderator deleted them. Players can’t conspire to delete each others posts with the report feature.
Except when they mass report then the posts are deleted.
Put your head in the sand and pretend it’s a good system if you want.

I’m the first to roast blizzard, but he’s right. It gets flagged and they review it.
I’ve had many flagged just because it was an unpopular opinion about dual spec, and it gets put back up after they review it and see it was just flagged because people disagreed and not because it broke TOS

My claim about autism was last night and you’re taking it out of context. I didn’t accuse or imply anyone here was on the spectrum. I made the claim that people on the spectrum have difficulty making inferences - as an example of how debilitating that can be.
To demonstrate that the ability to make inferences is fundamental to fluid discussion.
I think you and your pals are struggling to make inferences - on purpose as a debating tactic and not as a condition. You do it on purpose to be asinine and obfuscate various valid points. To sabotage constructive discussion. It’s a tactic - along with misquoting misrepresenting and passing off your own behaviour as that of your opponents.
