More people quitting due to no dual spec

Troll thread, ignore.

Tedious out dated game play? Lol there was no dual spec in bc. If they are quitting over dual spec they were going to quit eventually anyways.

No Thank You.

Lol nobody will quit over dual spec, most childish thing I ever heard. “Oh no we have more freedom to play other aspects of the game optimally? Quitting!

But also no one will quit based on there being no dual spec, “oh no I have to play the game that I hate so I can get loot”

Sorry, not here to listen to classic bullies.

Its funny. I don’t see any healers in here talking about how they love the cost of respecs. Only mages and warlocks who can farm infinite gold. Enjoy your game when you have no one left to heal your groups.

Healers struggled in actual tbc with farming gold and they struggle in 2021. I played holy paladin in actual tbc. NEVER again. Now I play a mage cause I saw this coming from a thousand miles away.

To those of you healers that endure your hardships without walking away like you should, you have my gratitude.

Hey! Druid here, class with the most rolls. I do not want Dual Spec in TBC.

I certainly do have an Offspec Healing Set. And I will pay to respec when it is needed. But I main Moonkin, and have been leveling a dedicated Healer. I’m doing this because, this is the TBC experience that I subbed for. I did not come into TBC expecting Dual Spec, so I am playing according to that expectation.

If you expected something that didn’t exist to be implemented, I sympathize with your buyers remorse, but please stop asking to change the product that we (those who do not want systems implemented that did not exist in the original product) full well knew what we were getting when we subbed for it.

The devs said there would be changes and asked the players for feedback as to the changes we’d like to see in the game. We’re here doing exactly what the devs asked us to. Frankly I care more about what the devs asked for than what random player x asked for

And we’re here to be a voice that this particular change would not be a welcome one for many, hopefully dissuading them from adding it. Pretty sure that’s also what the forums are for…?

So far seem to be doing a good job, given you whiners have been whinging for dual spec since classic vanilla and we successfully got through that expansion without adding it.

Also, Blizzard doesn’t add things based on simple majority, so even if I were to grant you and Demlicus the fantasy assumption that “vastly more players” want dual spec than not, it still doesn’t justify hurting the population of players that don’t.

No one believes folks are quitting over lack of dual sec.

And I have no problem with that. Post as much as you want. It’s the anti dual speccers that are telling us to stop posting. Most likely because we’re winning every argument and you losers want us to just shut up.

I so much wish it would hurt players like you. But unfortunately it won’t. In fact it will make your game better as all dps will have shorter wait times. But if it’s added you can always check to see if your tank or healer or any member of your raid or party uses dual spec and refuse to group with them if they do. Have the courage of your convictions.

Maybe we should rename this post to
“More people will be quitting if we get dual spec”

Most people in this day and age refuse to accept reality. Dual Spec was one of the greatest changes ever made to the game and nearly everyone agrees.

No one will quit if we get dual spec. Any no change purist quit when the paid boost, the store mount, the pally seal change, and the drum nerf was added. And there were very few of those. You’ll mouth off about it but if it’s added you be happy for the shorter wait times for groups and probably use dual spec yourself for a pvp spec

I definitely wouldn’t be upset if we got dual spec and I don’t see why anyone would cry about it? If anything you would possibly get more people that are willing to switch to heal or tank because they don’t have to pay for the re-spec constantly. Just like I don’t want to wait 30 minutes to join a BG, Quality of life changes are great.

No one will quit if we get dual spec

No one will quit if we don’t get dual spec

I think the safest thing to do is to do nothing, the game is fine as it is, if you want to do multiple roles consistently and don’t like respecs just make another character, more play time and stuff to do, endless content…. Unless deep down you hate the game.

Yes, because fun is never subjective. There is no nuance here it’s black or white. If you don’t have exactly the same opinions about the game and don’t play it exactly the same way Huffpost does you hate the game.

Agreed, no one is quitting over it though
