Absolutely no need for this in a fantasy video game. This is just excessive anymore and frankly, hurting your cause. Standing with your hand out because of your sexual orientation is childish at best.

I’d personally love to have a little vendor with pride flag tabards during pride month. I mean, we know LGBT lore characters exist (Flynn and Shaw and Pelagos), so why wouldn’t Azeroth have that? Lore wise, I mean. I realize countries like China have something to do with why we can’t actually have that.

And yet we somehow have Pilgrim’s Bounty. A decidedly North American tradition(with its own less savory connotations) as part of the game world. Which especially doesnt make sense considering WoW already has a Harvest Festival.
Personally, I dont particular care either way about a pride flag. Although you would think one of the various Factions would have used a rainbow like Tabard by now.

Americans are the only culture with a harvest festival? I had no idea we actually came up with something original. I always assumed since most of us immigrated from somewhere it was borrowed/brought over from somewhere else.
Americans/Canadians are the only one that at least have a tradition of stuffing themselves with turkey during a particular holiday(turkey here in my country isnt even popular). Harvest Festival on the other hand are more generic.
I’m guessing that is because turkey is a native bird. I assume other cultures stuff themselves as well just with whatever is at hand. Does Wow in China serve other foods for their in game harvest festival? I’m curious now if the localizations for the game have stuff like that in it. I know they do that for movies when they release them in other countries.
Blizzard seems to have no problem turning this forum into a Tumblr echo chamber, I know a few users who have been banned for 1000 years and yet, those who wish death upon people run rampant here.

So, just a quick note here on comments like these. Do you guys really think the “LGBT” community is a hive mind and that if people don’t think and act like you do, they are not “true LGBT” ?

Maybe they are, maybe they aren’t. Do you have any proof ? Is there a LGBT newsletter somewhere that I can consult that tells me all the different opinions that LGBT folks are allowed and not allowed to have ? Because such a thing would be ridiculous.
It seems to me like there’s quite a bit of diversity of thought in the LGBT community. Some want really far fetched crazy things and have gone full blown activist over it, some want to cancel Pride parades and pride month because they feel it makes them stand out when they would rather blend in. Heck, there’s Gays for Trump!
But there’s always a few to remind us that there’s only 1 LGBT accepted opinion somehow and that all those other opinions are “Not real LGBT folks”.
