More free heroic raiding gear...at the start of a raid tier?

Come on, it was bad enough they were getting free heroic raiding gear after 8.1 but at the start of an new raid tier? That’s not even an extra boss or an extra bonus roll, that’s straight up guaranteed heroic raiding gear every week for free.

Is there even a purpose of playing now? The point of playing is to gear up, giving free gear to half the player base is just a bad idea?

1 item per alliance player, only a fraction of whom will actually raid, is not going to tip the scales. Yea, #feelsbad to not be on the receiving end of Blizzard’s latest overreaction, but honestly, all the free heroic level gear they get still won’t land more than a couple of Alliance guilds on the top 100 for this raid tier.

I don’t see the point to raiding or putting in much effort this expansion to get geared because of stuff like this.

I guess, It’s demotivating enough for me to not bother playing anymore I think. No point if half the player base is going to get the same rewards as I get for less than half the effort…

I would see free 400 at like 8.2, but not now. I would say keep it on par with normal glad gear. “PvP” (questionable at best, more like RvP) to get PvP based rewards, not PvE based ones.

Doesn’t help that all the 385 gear I received during Season 1 has automatically been deemed garbage Day 1 of Season 2. Yeah the 400 iLvl reward for Alliance is bad, but that is just salt in the wound compared to all the time and effort you put into Season 1, and have that thrown out of the window Day 1 of Season 2.

Less than half the player base because some people will never turn on warmode even for ilvl 400 gear plus alliance was already less than half. So maybe you are getting 25 to 30% getting this gear.

Yeah, I disagree. If you have a guild spending $9,000 to go back to alliance you’re wrong.

If people are switching back then things are working as intended for blizzard.

Yes, let’s have an unfair and unbalanced game with one side constantly getting unfair treatment at the detriment of half the player base each time because Blizzard doesn’t know how to properly fix faction imbalances.

Pretty sure more people are quitting than switching back to alliance.

While i agree the Alliance doesn’t really need this quest and there should really be no extra % based rewards in warmode, I must say, the Horde tears are ever so satisfying.

Pretty sure many people could care less and will just continue to play the game.

This forum makes up roughly 1% of the playerbase. The people you talk to in game probably make up about another 1%.

In a week or two, it won’t matter. Horde will still have first kills and will still be top raiders.

Being upset is one thing. Constantly spamming the forums with outrage and veiled bitterness is another. Even if Blizz were to do something-- which I doubt they will-- it still won’t make you feel better about what’s already happened.

Just move forward. Smile. Relax. This isn’t worth your stress and health.

Then why do you care so much that you feel the need to keep this bitterness going and this snark and hatred in threads you’ve posted in tonight-- even when they have nothing to do with your rage?

If it’s not affecting anyone the way you make it out to be, then why continue down this path with so many threads about the same subject?

You wanna know what’s even more Fd up? Had I actually stuck with playing this character and kept doing what I was doing, I’d probably be 375+. I haven’t even stepped foot in Uldir Normal, Heroic or Mythic on this char. Haven’t done one M+ except for like a MOTHERLODE and Tol Dagor and was like “nope”.

I think I’m still using that Typhoon weapon from the dragons.

Edit: top kek, I am. All that hard work that raiders do in Heroic and Mythic? I’m just like them! :tada:
