I have arrived at the conclusion that they would have been better off and introduced high elves as the AR in leu of void elves. Then Created a hero class like a voidmancer in BFA for the voided affects that all races would use.
But here we are with the cards we are dealt, it would be nice to be able to turn off the entropic embrace, or at lest it be a shadow around your feet, it’s very annoying. Especially after the 8.3 visual corruption.

How about New Skin Tunes for Void Elves like instead of Blue and Purple. Go with True Black, Brown, and Gray. Alot of people would go back to Void Elves alot if the Void Elves had alot more Skin Tunes.

Thought the Entropic Embrace did bug once and I got this:
When I saw that, I thought: “Man, I wish void elves had skins like this.”
And then Blizzard announced the new skins a few weeks later… Yay!
Ohhh, are you sure this last one is a bug? Perhaps they really are adding new EE skins, including both no void and full void options??

Should never be an option. Do not remove the “void” from “void” elves.
If you want to be closer to none void elves, either roll BE or;
support playable HE or half elves
This feels like another very thinly veiled “give us more options to hide void elves actually being void elves so we can make like they’re actually high elves” thread.
I disapprove. I’d be fine with more void options, but the inclusion of asking for one to completely hide the racial is absolutely terrible.
Does that matter though?

Becaaauuuse… Void elves are NOT High Elves? No matter how pale your skin, you still puff blueberry in combat. If you don’t like it, go back to the horde.

They’ve got High Elf options. So… if you want to play a High Elf, you can just customize a Void Elf and do what you want.
Same way you can make a Wildhammer or a Forest Troll if you want.
Yet the game will still call you a void elf. Thats the point. I’m ok with people being ok with pretending to be high elves while being a Void elf. I’m not ok with people demanding us being diluted even more for their high elf fantasy.

Most likely the Silver Covenant will still be running around and Umbric will still be running around.
If this is how Blizzard is going to let people play High Elves, then they’re going to continue to request features to play what they want.
Diluting as in removing more of that makes us unique.
I can stand by the uncorrupted skin tones. But taking away the racial’s effect is too far.

I don’t think there is anybody out there that’s trying to break Void Elves.
BTW… Isn’t it funny how entropic embrace was never brought up anywhere, no issues, no complaints about the visuals, until this whole “high elf skins” thing started?

Entropic Embrace is awesome.
But if they’re going to give Alliance High Elves by giving the skin options to Void Elves… then people are going to ask to play their High Elf fantasy.
I’m not sure why that would seem strange to you.
So people are trying to play High Elves? What’s the problem?
It’s impossible to make it a glyph since it’s a racial, not a class skill.
And yes, it would break the void elves.
Helfers are worse than those calling Vulpera furries, SMH.
You can turn all of your Warlock fire green. =P
It’s still a button in the spell book. So it could still be glyphed.
