draenei and orcs make the most lore sense. my first thought was nightborne and void elves though just because elves but that’s not as good a reason maybe.

Except Draenei, and Orcs hate the Fel. Orcs tolerate their warlocks, but they’re basically of the lower echelon of their society. So, it doesn’t make lore sense. Your idea is bad, and you should feel bad for coming up with it

Yep. Orcs and Draenei both were in the Illidari and available for the setting of the DH starter experience. They don’t even need to change that to makes these two racial additions happen.

Kinda got disillusioned with the place after that, understandably. They used to send me some of their 3D art projects on Discord but I haven’t heard from them in a while.
You think Night Elves don’t? Demon Hunters aren’t part of their race’s society, that’s their whole point.

Murloc demon hunters exist in WoW, right now, and have since Legion. Seeing as how I doubt Illidan trained them, that that makes that ever repeated by players statement moot really.

Correct, a reason they could get Paladins as well. And that arbitrary restrictions like the ever repeated by players “if illidan doesn’t train it, it can’t happen” are not set in stone, if a Murloc is a DH, one likely not trained by Illidan, anything could potentially be.

Same for Warlocks. They exist on the periphery, almost universally persecuted. Yet when I point out that Highmountain Warlocks are feasible as remnants of the Feltotem, people come out of the woodwork to point out that they’d never be accepted by Highmountain culture. Which is sort of the point of being any Warlock.
