It would be the only chance as Illdain has control of the Red Fel Orcs and Red Eredar. Then it’s never talked about again in Legion.

Gameplay should come before lore in modern WoW in terms of class/race combos.
Except kultiran demon hunters…. That’d look too funny. I’d be too busy laughing and wouldn’t be able to focus.

Err, I’m of a different mindset. Lore is what enriches the world and makes me give a damn about experiencing the world. Now I’m all for new interpretations and if it can be explained well enough.
As much as I’m not a fan of them making anymore races demon hunters, I could see Fel Orcs and Eredar being a thing.
Fel Orcs were already in service to Illidan and while he used them primarily as shock troops and cannon fodder I could see a couple exceptional ones catching his non-existent eye that he might decide to train them so he could make further use of them. As for Eredar, could say that some became disillusioned with Kil’Jaeden and the Legion and decided to follow what they perceived as the stronger option.

I remember on the old forums, there was a Gnome who fought for a while for Gnomes to be a Demon Hunter. She had the transmog and all. So I say Gnome should be one at least. Though sadly I cannot remember her name.

I think so, the name rings a bell. The description sounds accurate as well, but it has been some time, so my memory is a bit off.
I even recall her suggesting a Fel-Tinker class for Gnomes and Goblins at one point.
