and uh… somehow having the game look nicer is an unfair advantage? you really gonna compare a program that plays 4-5 other characters for you to an nvidia update dude?
Having a higher FPS and being able to see farther is an advantage.
I’d also like to reiterate that multiboxing is not automation at all.
having a machine handle doing multiple things at once for you isnt automation? shoot ive been playing factorio wrong then. you control one character, the program then sends it to the other instances of wow so you dont have to switch.

im still not seein the connection behind graphics and multiboxxing software. have having a higher fps is gonna come from your hardware, not 3rd party software. we bannin graphics card upgrades now too?
The machine doesn’t “handle” your characters for you.
You press a button and each character performs a single action in response to that button. They don’t do anything else. The software does not generate any additional commands. If you stop pressing buttons, your characters stop doing anything.
Not automation.
You’re the one trying to ban third party software that gives an “unfair advantage”.

i dunno dude, seems like you’re just here to argue for arguings sake. it’s pretty clear to me that using a 3rd party program to duplicate inputs to multiple instances of wow kinda violates the whole “no 3rd party programs” part of blizzards stance on cheating, but what do i know? i just play the game the way its meant to be played.

You have to have a certain level of graphics to support automation.
You might want to double-check the EULA then.

I agree. Multiboxers should be banned. They should also ban players grouping together because that creates an unfair advantage over players that don’t group together.

ok, but they fact that they dont support doesn’t mean they’re for em either. what differentiates a program sending your inputs to another instance from botting? seems like semantics at that point.
Youre not the one playing those other characters, the software that controls them is. shouldnt matter if the inputs are coming from you or not, bot scripts have to be written by people too. why would time in between creation and execution classify it differently?
The major difference is that botting software generates commands independent of human interaction.
Multiboxing software on the other hand only deals with relaying human-generated commands. Each character only does precisely what a human is telling it to do at that exact moment. They don’t do anything else other than that.
Because with botting software you can get up from your keyboard and your characters will keep moving and doing things.
