hows a human generated bot script any different tho? the only difference is that the bot script is a series of commands executed over time, multiboxxing is that same script just written and executed at the same time.
Because you can step away from your keyboard and your characters will keep doing things. Seriously, that’s very easy to figure out. You’d have to be deliberately missing the point in order to make that kind of argument.
They’re not even remotely the same thing at all and you know it.
Seems like thats the case for the OP and some others complaining here, for sure.
I make more than enough gold ‘just playing the game’. Toss in ANY extra effort at all and Im tripping over gold
functionally the same doesnt mean the exact same. i can make a castsequence macro to do things for me while i get up, or a keyboard macro to do the same thing, but thats not banned
wheres the line drawn? when it benefits blizzard financially? its just mental gymnastics
With the recent sever mergers, I have experienced my first 5+ multiboxer while doing dailies on an alt. He saw me, stopped attacking things, let me get my 10 or so guys I needed and then proceeded to do his thing.
While it didn’t even matter(the respawn rate was cranked because of all the people), it was a nice gesture.
You do realize that you waited until the last month before Shadowlands releases, right?
Now you’re complaining that it’s too hard to make gold and you’re looking to blame multiboxers as you think that justifies the mistake you made.
Next time don’t wait until the last month of the expansion if you want something time limited. Just do it when it’s announced to be time limited. Stop blaming others for what you did.
yeah, and what happens when the price goes down? you buy that up and then what? try to flip it before more multiboxxers post more of that same item and devalue it again? smart
Using your keyboard to do them is bannable. At least pay attention to what you’ve written.
And I like how you avoided the rest of my post for your silly little “gotcha” comment. Really shows how well you’re arguing in good faith here and totally not arguing for the sake of arguing.
While I will agree that in their rules it states that the use of automated programs is not allowed. But wouldn’t it stand to reason then with CS saying, “Multiboxing, or playing multiple World of Warcraft accounts at once, is not a violation of our Terms of Use”
Also in that same note they say, “We do not support multiboxing tools.” I’m not sure how that can be seen as them not allowing MBing when their first line was, “MBind doesn’t violate our TOU”
I mean I get that people like to pick on the Dev team about not knowing what is going on. But come on, to say that it’s fine and not fine in the same sentence? That seems a bit far fetched doesn’t it?
That if they are saying that MBing doesn’t violate the TOU, then there is an exception to the written rules?
