Yeah man I find it insane that people think these things are alright when you have to run an external program to make it work

How about the software for my 20 button mouse? How about any third party graphics software instead of whatever Windows ships with?

Unsupported only means Blizzard won’t help you if you have any problems. It’s the same way trading gold for carries is unsupported.

The rest of the characters aren’t botting though.
You press a button and each character performs a single action in response to that button. They don’t do anything that you don’t explicitly tell them to do. The software doesn’t generate any additional commands at all. So once you stop pressing buttons, your characters immediately stop doing anything.

I’m still hoping the OP would be willing to answer the few questions that I have asked. Maybe someone knows the OP and might be able to answer them in their stead.
Part 1 - What do you mean by “leveling areas”?
Part 2 - If someone bought the expansion, why should they not be able to consume the content that expansion provides?
Part 3 - If someone bought the expansion to consume the content and they are being asked / forced to not use that content they purchased. How that can be seen as anything but a bad idea. I’m confused as to how that would be a good thing.
