Please bring back arena brackets for 70/80/85 twinks. We had a blast in original mop queing competitive arena using the arena system and would love to see it happen again. Currently the twinking scene is dead with very little activity and I know many people who enjoy it that want to re live the glory days.
âWeâ
The all of 10 people at most that made twinks in MoP ![]()
There were lots actually. Like hundreds if not thousands. Particularly in mop if my memory is correct because they could earn red enchant on their twink, as well as PvP titles. There was a confusing period where youâd try to find the top ret for example and itâs a level 70.
Them not being able to solve the issue of twinks getting titles is afaik why they removed the brackets.
youâre completely fried and very obviously didnât play if this is what you believe.
Well they made it weâre at Max level if you have multiple characters in glad range they only count as one spot. So I donât see why they canât just remove the non max level characters from the title slots.
The problem was not that it existed, it was that people were getting EZ mode titles from absurdly broken class mechanics south of 90. This is why it was killed in respect to Arena titles.
Iâm confused. Is your point âwell they can only exploit to benefit on one character per account so itâs fine to allow the exploitâ ?
I donât think people playing in a niche twink bracket with itâs own balancing issues and meta should receive rewards that are aimed at people actively competing in the current endgame bracket.
Iirc it did involve leveling your twink and playing your placement games. But the twinks kept their Cr from the twink bracket enabling purchase of rewards they basically exploited for.
I enjoyed twinking from vanilla throughout wrath on live. I think the class overhauls in cata and mop ruined low level PvP personally, but I never did arena, it was always a battleground thing for me. So I canât really empathize
The universal single rank spells from cataclysm forward destroyed any idea of low level pvp or pve, and the low level arena enjoyers know and exploit that.
The 10 of us that enjoyed twinking with 30min+ wait times in OG MoP are really sad to see our niche twinking brackets during an unpopular expansion are still not popular.

I cant say im against the idea but if whole past expansions are offline weeks at a time and not being addressed than this would probably be the most ultra of low prios.
And yet I see twinks fighting twinks everyday in 85-89 BGs. If you mean thereâs no longer a reason to stay 85 then sure.
And once youâre 89 and almost 90 and turn off your xp, the bgs donât pop anymore
Sounds like youâre trying to play the ez mode faction. My HORDE lvl 89 with xp turned off queued BGs twice today and I got a pop in about 10 minutes both times.
Twinking has been an unsupported play style for YEARS.
70 arenas were some of my favorite times. Rating was still in place, so you could get 2200 and buy the Bloody Dancing Steel stuff
Anniversary Classic Twinking

That was a bug that blizzard admitted . It wasnât intentional to put these players in separate queues. This has been fixed in classic.
Minorities often think they are the majority. You just canât fathom that people played parts of the game you never stepped foot in.
pleanty of people made twinks.
If lots of people enjoyed twinking then it would be catered to. They donât. So there are long ques and not even pservers have supported twinking communities, just highlighting how unpopular they are.
Letâs be honest. People âtwinkâ to gain gear advantage because their skills do not go as far in upper level play with a more even playing field. Twinks only enjoy twinking when they have a large population of casuals to prey upon. Classic doesnât cater to casuals anymore, just pocketbooks. Most people boost their way through levels now. The only single draw to âtwinkingâ has been eliminated from the game, killed by RMT, because it pushed all the casuals away, casuals that âtwinksâ like to farm in order to feel like theyâre accomplished pvpers.
