I’m only seeing that remix characters convert to regular DF/TWW characters with appropriate gear at the end of remix.
My question to this is,as I can’t find it anywhere online, Will the stats you gained via threads be retained or will they be changed as well?
The stats given by threads are associated with the cloak, and I doubt we’ll keep the cloak after Remix ends. (Most likely it’ll be replaced with a normal cloak of the same ilevel as the rest of the freebie gear we would be given after Remix ends, comparable to the gear you get for level boosting.)
The only thing we take out of Remix is the characters themselves and the cosmetics we buy or loot. (And the trivial amount of gold we collected, I suppose, but definitely not bronze, because the vendors for that will also almost certainly disappear at the end of the event.)
Yeah there’s no way they would let you carry over the cloak as is. They haven’t stated what items you will get other than “level appropriate gear”.

Wait, so even if someone somehow managed to upgrade all their gear to the max, they would still be replaced with lower ilvl (I think) gear?
Yes.
Remix is the ultimate in borrowed power: when the event is done, you have a normal run-of-the-mill character that hasn’t ground up any in-game power in Retail.
Correct. The gear in Remix is specifically for remix. When it is over you’ll retain any cosmetics, mounts, etc… that you acquired, but none of the powered gear.

do we get to keep the 36 slot bags and things or tinker gems? or are those gone too?
I’m not sure if these have been addressed in an announcement, so I could be wrong. But this is what my common sense tells me:
Bags - Keep
Tinkers - Will Not Keep (on normal realms, these are not used in this manner)
Gems - More of a murky area, but I lean towards Will Not Keep. How the gems are used in Remix is not how they are used on a live realm. They could be converted, or perhaps gems in TWW will be used in a similar fashion.
I imagine anything that gives you power or utility will be left behind. Blizzard would not let players keep such potent and powerful items in the real game, especially since they did not allow people to play their mains in Remix. Gems, gear, consumables, etc will not come forward. Can you imagine the tuning nightmare?
I guess they could be carried forward but rendered useless and just vendor junk.
the only one thats going to suck losing is windweaver for immunity to fall damage on classes without a slow fall in some form.

I couldn’t say with certainty, I don’t know if we have any specifics listed publicly, but as far as I know all items will be purged from the character upon transition from Remix to Live.
I believe any gold the characters earned should carry over, Tinker, Gems and other consumables seem specific to Remix, so I don’t believe they will.

One thing I have to point out that I didn’t see anyone mentioned. While you don’t get to keep the cloak itself, you get to keep all the cloak appearances you earned throughout Remix. (Any item you pick up in Remix that you don’t know you get to keep the appearance of.)

Would be nice but the cloak stats are OP as all heck, no way thats going to carry over
I’ve been putting Timerunner’s Satchels into all the extra bag slots at the character bank storage. The vender is right next to the bankers at Shrine of Two Moons and Seven Stars. He sells the bags for 10 bronze each. They are BoP though.
If the bags transfer over then you won’t have to worry about those characters needing bag space…forever really.

You completely underestimate the ability to hoard all sorts of items, just in case they are needed later.

This is another odd question since I am playing specs and characters I don’t normally play in remix
I made a light forged warlock for various reasons. I hit 50 on them thinking by doing so I would also get the achievement for that. Someone said I needed to pick up the armor quest for it to count?
This is from the Support Article on Heritage Armor.
Pandaria Remix
Mists of Pandaria Remix characters are eligible for the Heritage armor but they will only be able to start the quest and unlock the appropriate achievement once the event ends.

You do, but the armor quest is on live, not in remix. You can get around this quickly enough tho. Once you hit the required level, create a class trial on live with the appropriate race. You will have access to the heritage armor questline and can complete it. It’s what I did so I don’t forget when remix is over.
