Looking for help – made some lv70 toons in MOP remix so I can experience class halls from the remaining classes I haven’t seen still yet and I can’t start them…
I have a few MOP remix characters and the following:
Pally(Sunodia) has unlocked class hall > did not to legion quests, landed in dal and got npc run up to me as messenger. Have not done the TWW harbinger or pre quests. I played the night BEFORE early TWW access started (wed night).
War(Cayosini) has not unlocked class hall > has completed the legion pre n intro quests (broken shores, King V dies, give letter to boy-king, defend SW from demons). But when i went to the DH in SW to see dal be teleported, the cutscene never happened, it auto skipped and I landed in Dalaran. No messenger shows up, tho Trollbane is in Kraus Landing looking out at the green lightshow. But he isn’t giving me anything. Have not done the TWW harbinger or pre quests. I played the AFTER the early TWW access started (this weekend).
Rogue(Vàleera) has not done any legion, went form MOP remix log in straight to heritage armour, then TP to dal. Landed in Dal and no rogue hall quest npc shows up. Have not done the TWW harbinger or pre quests. I played the AFTER the early TWW access started (this weekend).
Void Elf mage (Amuulunrama) has logged in since TWW early access started, tho only completed VE heritage armour quests and I dont remember going to Dal or not… I might have to be honest… but even then I don’t remember starting/seeing any NPC for class hall for mage…
Monk(Ghikàdun) I haven’t logged into since MOP Remix ended… thinking i might wait it out and see what happens after early release for TWW ends… same as my remix warlock (Sàtaiel)…
My pally i got all three artefact weaps and now have to do the class storyline (starting in Vash’…) however not able to find Khadgar anywhere in Legion Dal, his not where map markers say, and I have gone to the Chamber of Guardian in the middle of Dal and his not showing/doing anything for me.
War and Rogue have nothing showing up.
War has TWW and Harbinger quests in log to be started.
Rogue has none, abandoned all story/campaign quests, lets Dal and HS back - still nothing.
– It looks like perm stuck inside TWW Dal phase - which has Khadgar away from his usual spots and locked into the Harbinger or TWW quest line positioning/phasing?
I’d recommend completing the War Within quests to see if he returns to the Violet Citadel. If that doesn’t work, it is something that our QA team will have to look into so I’d recommend posting in the Bug Report forum or submitting a bug through the in-game interface option.
Sergeant Dalton appears to show up when logging into Cayosini, with the quest.
Same for the Ravenholdt courier.
Felstorm’s Plea popped up as soon as the character stepped foot in Dalaran.
I’ve seen at least one other report and it is odd that I can see them or are pushed the appropriate quest when I log into the characters but you cannot. There shouldn’t be any real difference between the two except that my UI is near default (outside of the command interface that GMs use, which shouldn’t cause any issues).
At this point I’d say, first try logging in after resetting your User Interface, it’s always good to test with a default UI and if the issue persists this might be best reported as a Bug so that QA can investigate.

I’ll try the Pally > complete TWW quests tonight after work and see, thanks!

I tried suggestions above for all three, adds turned off, reload UI, using default UI not custom, resetting user interface from above link… no npc showing up … I guess I’ll report as bugs as well later after work/when online tonight.
Hey Vrakthris, thought i’ll reply for you and anyone who reads this post — tried all the above, TWW intros, into the 1st city and used SW portal back… still no Khadgar. I’ve submitted a bug report… fingers crossed!
I’ve been documenting who is in Dalaran prior to the attack, and whether they survive, die, or are MIA.
I logged in with my 70 Remix Rogue, to catalog the Rogue Class Hall denizens, and discovered this issue. None of the entrances are available, and since I don’t have the amulet, “Red” won’t open the door.
I am almost done with the intro questline, and planned to port back to Legion Dalaran once I get to Dornogal. Has anyone found out whether this works, since the initial posts here a week ago?
Upon doing TWW quests up to learning about the Council of Dorn splitting up, I ported to Org, portal to Azsuna, and once I reached Krasus’ Landing, the Ravenholdt Courier immediately showed up, no UI resets, just TWW quest completions.
I figured I’d check for Khadgar, even though I have no current quests with him, and he is not in The Violet Citadel. He is, however, in the Chamber of the Guardian, with Jaina, where he has been since the Harbinger quest.
Good to know… I’ve done the same with my remix war and nothing is coming up. I have submitted bug reports and support tickets, but heard nothing back…
All I’ve seen is a post that the issue was known and fixed (which would of been a few days or a week before TWW go live date), however clearly its still a issue…
Hearing you did that for your rogue and got the NPC starter for class hall, I might now try it on my rogue and see what happens… thanks for commenting!!
so just to keep this updated - I’ve done the TWW pre and intro quetline’s (up till Dornogal city portal being available) … and in going back to SW (only done it on alli toons so far IDK about horde) then using SW portal to Asuna > fly via flightmaster up to Krasus’ Landing and the npc messenger for WAR and ROG both have showed up.
I’ll do it for Monk next and see how it goes fingers crossed.
However → still unable to find and/or interact with Khadgar properly for Legion class or Legion quest lines. e.g. I can’t accept/complete Uniting the Isles so I can unlock Broken Shore island itself. I might have to do Val’ zone whole quest line see if its a phasing issue for Legion quests? Tho I really doubt it…
Update thoughts to share: I haven’t tried Monk yet however I have jumped on other characters (Priest, Warlock, DH, DK) who are NOT max lv70+ and haven’t touched anything TWW and was able to see Khadgar…
Starting to suspect its a TWW v Legion Dalaran problem for anyone lv70+ or anyone started / on TWW quest lines…
I was trying to do the Legion intro with my lvl 70 Remix monk today, and I was able to do pretty much everything that was mentioned by everyone else. I can do the Broken Shore intro, I get the quest to pick up the Dalaran hearth stone once I end up in Dalaran, but I didn’t get any popups about the monk class hall like I have with other characters in the pass. I used Zen Pilgrimage to go to the temple in Pandaria, and I checked it in both timelines with nothing to start the questline. I then did the Armies of Legionfall intro questline and everything leading up to when you establish the base on the Broken Shore. It will be a while before I try to do that questline with my friend who’s doing Legion for the first time. I just wanted to have my Class Hall questline where it needs to be to progress on the Broken Shore stuff once we start to do it.
I hadn’t started The War Within on any characters yet, because I am trying to finish Dragonflight first (and I have a long way to go ). I tried to do the intro and what Ghikàdun mentioned he’d done of it, and it worked for me as well! I was able to get my quest as soon as I flew back to Dalaran after getting the Stormwind portal in Dornogal.

TLDR: Do what Ghikàdun explained above if you’re having this issue with any lvl 70 trying to start the Legion questline.
I think this might also have gotten fixed in a recent patch, since I see him in The Violet Citadel on alts doing TWW intro stuff, and he hadn’t been there when we were complaining about this issue. He also can properly be found in Krasus’ landing if you have all of the Class Hall reps lined up to start the Broken Shore Armies of Legionfall scenario, as stated here:
