For the Realm First! Pandaren Ambassador Feat of Strength, there is an exploit where by transferring to servers with a different set of August Celestial dailies, someone was able to artificially get ahead more than is possible by any proper gameplay means. Due to the WOTLK change where Realm Firsts! can be achieved by a toon that has transferred within the last 10 days, this means that even a perfectly planned human character with every proper in-game rep buff can be beat out by someone willing to shell out $100s of dollars for server transfers that goes against the entire spirit of a Realm First!. While that WOTLK change was almost certainly made with first clears of raids or professions in mind, which typically take a single day to be achieved on populated realms, it unfortunately allowed for a feat of strength like the Pandaren Ambassador to be cheesed through server transfers early in the expansion. Please ensure that Faerlina can have someone achieve Realm First! Pandaren Ambassador that ACTUALLY remained on the realm for the entire duration of the expansion’s launch.
Wouldn’t the 30 day transfer cooldown mean they could only get one free day of dailies?
Characters can transfer every 2(*)3? days. It has not been 30 days for a while.
It’s 3 days now. And even if it were only done once, it’d be the equivalent of getting a day’s head start on a server-first clear of the raid.
As someone who’s been in the hall of fame since its invention - if someone could enter the raid a day early…. They certainly wouldn’t get to keep their achievement. This is ridiculous and this player should be punished for exploiting.
Paying hundreds of dollars to cheat is lame. Of course it one of those FAD players.
