Without a horse in this race, OP meant “subscription fee,” when they chose the words “service fee.” It was quite clear to me.

Clearly “service fee” in this context means “subscription fee.” Clearly.
The amount of bickering here in CS has gone up sharply in the past week or two. What gives? 22 posts over whether dude meant “sub fee” or “service fee” from their bank, and OP isn’t even participating.
A subscription is a re-occuring authorized payment each month.
A game time card/block is a single stand alone purchase.
Subs can still pay for one month at a time. So no, using the word “sub” also does not make sense here. Unless they are calling the gametime blocks a “sub” in error. The game time blocks changed months ago though so this is not a “new” issue and they would have noticed it when they went to buy game time months ago.
That is why people are asking what the OP actually meant.
I refer back to my chart earlier in the thread. They just need to point at it and tell us which one they are trying to use.

How is there multiple threads now over this change which happened months ago ? it’s not like yesterday Blizzard removed the ability to purchase 1 month of game time and lined up the bulk game time to match what was sold in retail stores ( 2 months only).
This is not a new change, this is not a money grab or anything else people are calling it. You can still start a 1 month sub, wait a few days for it to process and then cancel, rinse repeat if you like.

That is my complaint. "Though it being $29 throws me off, it reads like they’re complaining about having to buy two month blocks instead of the one " I buy the subscription in the WoW store for 14.99 at the first of each month as that is my payday. Can’t do that now… there is only the one for two months at a time.

No it did not happen months ago… I do that every month. Its new. I had to buy a token off the AH. Not cheap.
So, to solve my problem i am just transferring the funds to paypal so it will be there in the middle of the month for them to take it out. Just a pain is all.
It did actually happen a little over four months ago. March 25th.
