Well if this follows the same pattern as the last two seasons of SL, the legendary will be upgradable in the final season (like “bow” was going into the final season of SL). So we could be talking about a year or more for that legendary.
By that standard you don’t need it for mythic either.
Yeah, but a monkey paw would be theoretically. Getting what you want , but in a worse way.
Nothing’s changed that’s not a monkey paw. That’s simply being ignored
and? the axe was never guranteed to drop outside of mythic difficulty. if you wanted it guaranteed, you should have been doing mythic. you’re not in a worse position than you were as a result of this change.
Makes it so if you’re semi decent you’ll get the legendary

I mean, technically.
RWF did it just fine. And at this point the heroic raiders should have better gear then they did during the event.
And gear helps make up for skill. So no, you don’t need it. However, I’m of the belief that those who put the work into getting gear should get it.
LFR is not that. Neither are my +15 - 16’s.
What great attitude, this is reason the why people are quitting the game. You tell them get good, and they take their money to somewhere else that they can actually feel welcome.

i didn’t say “get good”. people doing harder content always had a higher chance of getting the legendary. this was not a surprise and should not be coming as news to anyone.

You can literally AFK through Normal.
You can literally AFK through Heroic.
You can literally AFK through Mythic.
This is why the services channel exists.

The Axe is granted through a questline and is iLvl 496 at the end of the quest chain regardless of difficulty.

Prices for “AFK’ing” through mythic are between 11 and 24 million gold…(thats more than $1k US) so I doubt many people are doing that
Conversely, you can AFK through LFR for free…which was their point. 496 ilvl legenadaries should be very rare in the easiest raid difficulty
