TL;DR Drop Rate
If these plots are related to the legendary and they work how we think they work, these are some of the most important conclusions:
The Drop Rate on LFR and Normal is low… very low.
On your 15th Heroic (or higher) Fyrakk kill, you will guaranteed get Fyr’alath the Dreamrender.
On your 7th Mythic Fyrakk kill, you will guaranteed get Fyr’alath the Dreamrender.
It’s unclear exactly how Lesser Embers interact with Greater Embers, but if you’ve been collecting they should be stacking up.
We are currently on Week 15 since Amirdrassil came out. RWF ended on Week 2 and the legendary unlocked on Week 3. This means that this week is a Fyrakk kill with up to 12 BLP stacks.
Anyone farming the axe on LFR or even normal, you’re still getting a low drop rate
Anyone else farming it on heroic and higher are guaranteed soon or the very least now
By week 40 of Farming the axe purely on lfr maybe you’ll get a chance with 15%

How is that a monkey paw? Having it guaranteed after a certain number of kills sounds like pretty good design to me.

That’s pretty good but it shows how broken the scaling for BLP was that even their hotfix it jumps from like 30% to 100%.

Did you not read it? I’m talking more about anyone getting said axe purely on LFR
Heroic and mythic raiders are fine they’re guaranteed their axes pretty soon
Said players on here aren’t actually heroic raiders let alone normal raiders
If all they’re running is LFR they probably only need it for the mog anyways.
If they don’t get lucky now they can farm it in future expansions.

Sounds pretty good to me. LFR is a joke, it shouldn’t drop the legendary at all imo. You can literally AFK thru LFR. People want legendary loot to sit AFK. Hah.

I thought it was going away forever after Dragonflight concludes.
I don’t think so? I haven’t heard anything of that nature and they’ve never done that with raid legendaries before (unless you count Atiesh).

I agree with you on that. Should have been just like the sylvanas bow
It’s not even a good mog. The handle looks like it belongs on a weapon half its size from TBC era.

Should’ve only been off mythic Fyrakk. They could’ve kept it brokenly OP and not had to worry about tuning specs around it. Who cares if a fraction of a percentage of players have an OP weapon for a few months.

Had it been like that the outrage would been non stop.
Very least should be given at heroic and mythic imo

Too many players clear heroic raid. Legendaries should be rare, and almost obscenely powerful. Otherwise what’s the point?
Re: this article I wonder how many devs are sitting there thinking “they exposed us!” ![:joy: :joy:](https://d38bqls1q93fod.cloudfront.net/en/wow/images/emoji/twitter/joy.png?v=12)

I am happy they finally released some actual data on it. Now we can all make the decision whether or not we want to do the encounter possibly that many times. This is all I have been wanting the entire time.
It’s still speculative. The article has multiple disclaimers, I wouldn’t take it as gospel. But it’s better than we’ll ever get from devs.

What was the drop rate for glaives in TBC or the bindings in Vanilla?
They didn’t lol
WoWhead datamined some numbers and made assumptions.

6% a piece. Thanks. Idk why i didnt think to look at wowhead🤦🏻♂️
I don’t think they understand what a monkey paw scenario is. Having different levels of bad luck protection based on difficutly is definitely not it.
