Taran Zhu…?
Whether you want to believe it or not, Taran Zhu was liked by many especially after his encounter with Garrosh, the Shado-Pan in general were relatively popular amidst the Pandaren hate train back then.
Like Dracthyr and Evoker.

Dractyr was literally one expansion and was the last one
It wasn’t 10+ years ago which was pandaria
And they already put a lot of new effort for the race giving dracryrs new classes next patch
Nothing comparable
I would pay money if in the middle of a Cutscene of Xal’atath monologuing, a massive barrel just smacks her in the face, followed by Chen flying in.

monk has nice animations and a backflip kick. theyre already the coolest. no representation needed 
Taran Zhu is labeled a monk and I don’t know why, him and the Shado-Pan as a collective are more rogue than monk. Even when you recruit Taran Zhu he strikes from the shadows before vanishing. He also doesn’t play any role in the Legion story meaning his part is still kept to MoP.
She was part of WoD, but hardly a central character.
Having said that, she was my favorite follower from the Rogue Class Hall in Legion.
No it’s true he really does have a “badass”. I checked and it is nowhere near as shapely as his father’s was.
She was almost ruined in BfA, it got really scary when they wanted her to desire assassinating another Wrynn-- fortunately scrapped. 
Still got Rexxar’s weird reason to fight in a war because ‘Jania took it too far’ when Sylvanas destroyed Teldrassil. 
You’re kidding yourself if you believe Dracthyr will make a meaningful return in the story giving their popularity being even worse than the joke race, and their lore being failed experiments of Neltharion and nothing more.
Edit: It’s actually kinda criminal how little lore Dracthyr have for a playable race, probably the least amount of lore next to like, Void Elves…
Shado-Pan aren’t exclusively any class, just majority Monk, they can be anything. Taran-Zhu is definitely a monk, just a real sneaky one. More akin to a shinobi really. And he asked for a cool/badass character, so I gave him Taran-Zhu. I wish he had more story time.
