Can we have a monk somewhere in the story line? Maybe like mid dialog, xal’atath gets rising sun kicked in the jaw.
Considering we crashed here, and Pandaren are thousands of miles away, not sure we need a second “zen” race with draw attention from the already superior Earthen.
Doesn’t need to be a panda
Should have a panda just sit on xalatath. Problem solved.
Doesn’t need to be a Monk either
I mean, it would certainly be an “ending” to the campaign.
Panda players could get like one of those curly arrows blizz uses for getting into vehicles. Only this time it allows a panda player to click on xalatath with it. Then the panda player jumps on top of her and she gets squished underneath.
Monks already had a major expac, as did my Worgen and my Mechagnomes. I’m sorry they feel under-represented, but I am not pining for worgen or mechagnomes in Dorn.
Ji and Aysa training earthen to be monks.
Literally a panda monk meditating on a rick pillar in Isle of Dorn, Aysa and Ji are also training Earthen as the medium between Horde and Alliance on the beach.
Wenbrandt.
Already got Cogfrenzy, still curious why Jania recruited him.
So the OP is just blind. Copy that! LOL
Think they want a monk relevant to anything in the story, standing in the background isn’t much more than being absent all together. Like between Aysa and Ji the faces of monks and pandaren have had like one sentence between the two of them since MoP and it was Ji catching Thrall losing his balance on a ship in a book no one cares about.
Monks had their time to shine in MoP as DK’s did in WoLK, which is more than can be said for Rogues and Hunters.
I don’t know how to tell you this but hunters have been the face of WoW for a hot minute.
Warchief for BFA and Shadowlands and bad guy for Shadowlands was hunter, current protag is hunter.
Rogues have an entire alliance org that appears in plenty of expacs.
Monks have… uhh… subtle references?
Who’s that Earthen that oversees the Cinderbrew Meadery?
He’s basically a Brewmaster, seeing as how it’s his passion.
Also, you’ll notice if you’re a monk player already, he uses some monk gear already, namely the shoulder pads.
Unless they make him one, he couldn’t have been, no one would’ve taught him to be one in-lore.
Again, subtle references.
SI:7 aren’t technically Rogues, they’re spies. They may work with Rogues (and have done) but they aren’t Rogues themselves.
