Monk compensation buff?

As someone who has mained windwalker this season started mythic, gotten ksm, and aotc. I can say that the primordial stones are doing on average 10-15 percent of our dps on ww depending on fight. As such hard nerfing them then giving us a mere 2 percent dps increase is laughablly incorrect. Our spec is already bottom of the barrel and this is gonna make it way worse. I would like some design changes tbh but if you wont do that please give us at minimum a 10 percent buff to at least keep up at our current capability.

it just dont effect you it also effects the tanks also
and some healers

It affects us the most which by the way those specs did get a buff and they got a stronger buff then we did. They are not also bottom of the barrel of their respective roles. Well mw is struggling in pve to my knowledge but thats a seperate issue

But you aren’t losing 10% dps. You will be replacing the annulet with a 441 ring.

I just don’t understand why we can’t have another ring that is like annulet but implemented in such a way where every class would want one. Maybe that sounds boring, but a basically guaranteed piece of loot with special effects is more interesting to me than… two rings with our two best secondary stats.

which will probably give us abour 1 to 2 percent dps. A 441 ring is not going to equate to 10-15 dps thats the whole point. Stats just dont scale on ww thats why the ring is so good for us. I belive the calculations are the ring equates to a 500-550 IL ring if it was stats

The top WW log for mythic Kazz shows primordial stones doing only 8%.

So, with the 2% compensation buff, that means you will be nerfed by 6%, IF AND ONLY IF, you choose to not equip a replacement secondary ring.

At least your spec is on the list.

Mained WW end of BfA and start of SL. They are spot on in terms of stat scaling for WW is basically non existent. They use Mastery/Crit for maybe the first 4-5 weeks of an expansion but are Vers/Crit the rest of the seasons of the expansion to get value from trinket/weapon damage/other damage effects.
The ring was a big power spike and was particularly good for WW but acknowledging also that it did likely significantly exceed the expectations of how long players would use it most likely.

Sucks they are basically nerfing the ring to the ground but it was going to come without a doubt.

I hate that so many classes aren’t getting a buff at all.

I agree. We are already pretty low on the DPS charts so I don’t see the annulet nerf and a 2% buff doing anything but making our standing even worse.

Wait what’s happening with the ring??

People were still having fun with it in S2.

What??? Yet the Eranog and Brookeeper rings are also being trashed. Wait they’re not even talking about those? Man…blizzard be on that bull Schmidt hard sometimes.

My arcane mage will be fine damage wise. But i really did like having some source of in combat healing outside of ice block

You need to look at WW like WoD demonology. Blizzard doesn’t want you playing it.

No not until they actually say it. Because they actually literally told me not to play demo during wod. Warlocks still get to own that. Until they say it to you too you can’t sit with us!

The annulet is not doing 15% of your dps. Your most recent logs show it doing around 8% of yours. A 441 ring is 4-6% dps. More with socket. With the 2% buff…

They literally told us multiple times they would do this if the ring lasted into S2. We are now mad they are following through on what they tell us? Yikes.

Mad? Who gets actually angry over a video game. Yeah I’m sitting on the toilet seething with rage. Lord… It’s just mildly annoying because I like having some healing on my mage. It sucks that they still don’t have a reliable I’m combat active healing source that isn’t tied to a powerful defensive CD. And I like to run vaults. It’s fun going from room to room floor to floor solving puzzles. And I know it’ll still be there to run I know but it’s cool when you’re playing wow having fun with somethng really having fun with it and it also benefits your toon.

have you tried looking at WW sims with a 440+ ring. See what the difference that is and apply the 2% buff and im guessing it will be fairly close

I agree. Unfortunately, too many players just want to raid log.

Same with Ret, where are the tuning passes, cmon.
