There’s an addon that temporarily fixes the problem. It’s called “MoneyFrameFix” and you can find it on WoW Curse.

Tried this. Seems to make it worse as the error pops in another place without hovering.

This is happening to me, too, with or without addons. It’s very irritating!

I tried deleting my Cache, Interface and WTF folders and it didn’t change anything. I also tried the Scan & Repair option from the launcher and nothing changed.

Yeah, no change after maintenance, still going on. Disabled the error reports, but I know it’s struck again when most of my item tooltip popups break … which is frequently …

Also having this issue, it happens at completely random times, have turned off all addons and it still happens, for the longest time I thought it was the addons causing them, but having them off and still getting these issues. BLIZZARD please fix this.

Oh great, I login today and on top of performance being worse than before the patch now I’m getting this issue as well, any time I try to loot or collect rewards from quests.
Really annoying.
Game is almost unplayable with these constant error popups.

Download the addon MoneyFrameFix. Temporarily fixes the lua errors while we wait for blizzard to get a clue.

Same here. still happens regularly even with ALL addons disabled, and I even removed them all and rebuilt the cache, still happens. /reload will fix it for a few minutes…
